African Wonder! Come and see the =N=150b monorail in Port Harcourt Garden City that covers only a 50naira taxi distance. You have to admit, this kind of feat is not easy to accomplish. That the monorail to demdem is a waste is an undisputeable fact. That the first phase of this project will be in operational by December this year is a fact. That Amaechi won't be able to complete the next phase of the project is a fact. That the op is being dubious by the pictures shown is also a fact. Below is a better reflection of what is on ground. Amaechi is second only to fashola and even that,is debatable. the monorail is one of MANY projects so why the fuss? we should be insisting on the next admin. continuing it. let's face facts,this project on its own is a good one. the only issue is that its ill timed. its kind of silly to go on with such a project in a city where just constructing ring roads and flyovers is more important and more than enough to free traffic bottlenecks in many parts. my worry is that Nigerians are willing to crucify even an angel who turns PH to heaven in 8years if they have no religious or ethnic attachment to him... I didn't vote Jonathan in 2011.why? because he had nothing to show as deputy and governor of bayelsa. what has he put on ground?nothing! like amaechi asked the Kalabari people,"what has GEJ done for you"? "GEJ is not my brother. I am CRA." for those who are quick to call that con-man in akwa ibom,you have no idea what governance is about. 8 Likes |

ba7man:proposing projects and executing projects are 2 different things we have all seen all manner photoshop, photo draws on the proposed rail project and some innocent traders in Maza Maza , mile 2 had their buildings demolished to make way for the project and uptill now nothing is on ground and his term is 90 % finished . How about the lekki international Airport and Sea port that drove lagosians into the frenzy of deporting hardworking people goin about their normal businesses and dumping at the Onitsha Bridge head in the name of cleaning up the city meanwhile allowing cultist, Societal Riff raffs and invalids who are from the south west to roam freely, elsewhere Delta And Akwa Ibom state delivered International Airports without any noise and Jigawa delivered a domestic Airport without deporting anybody. Ikengawo:I never expected this from you. Go read up about monorails and understand why this is not an easy fit. There are cheaper alternatives though but it is still a good project for a rich State with high traffic challenges like Rivers. Amaechi did everything as a leader from agriculture to education to roads to power to human resources to employment. 4 Likes |
