exactly what i said, the church doesn't believe in divorce, so she doesn't have a divorce process.

Also, stating from your eg... If a man maltreats his wife and she ran away for her own safety. Lets say the man out of his waywardness goes ahead and invite marries another woman without divorcing the first wife... Shouldnt the church at least grant the woman access to comunion since the fault isnt coming from her... This is the type of exception that am talking about... When one of the partner becomes the victim of a broken marriage...

actually, if you are divorced you can recieve communion....

THe problem is "remarriage". If your first marriage is valid then you can't be remarried.

THe problem is "remarriage". If your first marriage is valid then you can't be remarried.

I know of so many marriage that have being annulled by the church and sometimes, the partners involved remarries again to a different pple... So I really dont understand what you mean by the bolded.... Gov Chime's marriage was officially annulled by Bishop Gbuji and he remarried right in the church.
My exception is... Incase one of the partner decides to go AWOL with another person without full annulment of the marriage, let there be some leniency from the church on the other partner.
