uefa has decided dat as from d 2015/2016 season the winner of d europa cup will automatically go into d prestigous uefa champions league. that is d winner of dis season's europa competition will compete in d champions league next season. good or bad idea!

if let's say Derby for instance gets relegated n wins the fa cup automatically they qualify for europa league... probably out of luck the win the europa league will still in relegation.. Hw does it seem to them seeing a relegation team in champions league... abeg make dem forget that idea

Ok I quite reason wit u, but u say "out of luck" but me and u know dat is still unda probabilty for a very lowly team like dat to win d europa cup. looking at it from anoda perspective, since it is called champions league, d competition should b for champions alone afta all those teams dat finished 2nd or 3rd or 4th in their respective leagues are not champions, but dey are allowed to compete in a competition suppose for champions alone, so why not d europa CHAMPIONS.

u know people that qualify to europa league right? they are people that finished atmost 5th in their respective league looking at it from any angle it's either the person taking the europa league is in 5th in his local league or he went out to europa league in the 3rd position

U also know dat wen we talk of 2nd or 3rd or 4th positions, we are referring to d 4 major( strongest) leagues viz English, Spanish, Italian and German, others depending on d strength of their league and performance in the chanpions league either get 1 or 2 or 3 slots in d competition, for instance france is 3 slots, holland is 2 slots, scotland is one slot in d champions league. so how do u rate Celtic FC as champions of Scotland against say Lille as 3rd position place in France all in d champions league, u also know dat some champions league teams(3rd place teams) from each group automatically drop into d europa league and also play off losers in d champions league also go into d europa competition, so my point is d europa competition is not entirely for weak or average teams. U may also remember dat teams dat drop out of d chams. league sometimes do go ahead to win d europa cup e.g Chelsea(2013).
