As part of his Official Visit to the United Kingdom, President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina, on Thursday visited the Buckingham Palace for a private meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. President Mahama and the Queen discussed a number of issues of common interest to the two countries, while the Queen was interested in the First Lady's health-related activities and humanitarian support. President Mahama presented the Queen with a copy of his first book, My First Coup D'etat And Other True Stories from the Lost Decades of Africa.

And then the queen will come out and receive him, she will give him a document containing a list of all British interest in Nigeria and also thank him for allowing the operation of British companies in Nigeria. She will then receive a similar documentation from Jonathan. That is how the president of a great nation is received. Is not like mahama that wrote a cute poem about the queen and travelled from Ghana to UK to show her the poem. So that the queen can say oh! Mahama this is beautiful i never knew you could write like this it is very fine. And then she will hand him a few coins to compensate his efforts.
