Hello gurus, some months ago, I opened a thread to sample opinions whether to buy 2003 camry or 2001 406.

Now I managed to raise 800k, but I am still confused on which car to buy. Since my 800k cannot get me a tokumbo 2003 camry, should I go for naija used camry big daddy or tokumbo 406?

Please advise me wisely.

This is a tough call buying a Naija used 2003 Camry with that budget you would still need to do some little work on the car I can guarantee that and you need to make sure it has being serviced with right oil and all that. Also the shocks absorbers also is a thing to worry about.

The Peugoet would be an excellent choice with some determining factor; Do you know a good Peugeot mechanic? Are you getting EW10 engine or EW12 I don't know the better one. Cos your love for the Peugeot might from a 100 to 0 real quick when you jam the wrong mechanic. Also remember the 406 is better with a Manual tranny.

If I had your money I would consider getting a 2002 Acura TL not minding the V6 engine. like the one below tho it's sold or the 1999/2000 Model C class.

You need to know getting a naija used car you need to be very lucky or have backup money for unexpected repairs.

Y r u too greedy always going for cars ur money can't afford. Go for toks 98/99 camry and save us all these ur threads ie if u r lucky to get one at dt price

With a budget of 800K I'd advise you go for a 'TOKUNBOR' Toyota Camry 98/99 Model Aka 'Tinylight'.

It's a far better option when compared to what you wrote on your post!

I am still trying to understand how you could be confused after some months what you desire to own. There is no gain in trying to play safe. Its a trap. You won't grow with that mindset, honestly. Be a risk taker or remain in a circle, year in year out. Either you jump into Lion family and start enjoying like the rest of us or keep doing, "What if...".

By the way, I wonder what tokunbo Peugeot 406 you are considering getting at 800k. D8? If its phase I 406, yes, 800k can get you a tokunbo one. But a D9 cost about double of that amount . Unless you are after a RHD - LHD converted D9, which I would suggest you stay away. You do not want headaches that come with most of these converted Lions.
