Why Does Our Society Frown At Adultery But Normalise Fornication by bigass(op):
When a married man or woman cheats most people will condemn it saying it's wrong to cheat also saying its ungodly and sin. However when two people are dating and are having sex nobody condemns it as sinful or wrong. If Christians/Muslims could accept pre marital sex a norm why then frown at extra marital as if one is a lesser sin. Is going against a marital vow of chastity more important than breaking God's laws.

What exactly do you mean by christians? You should say society not christians. Besides its a thread for religion section and would soon be taken there.

How did you come about your conclusion? What criterion or statistics do you have?
Are you talking about what the society accepts or what Christians/church accepts.
Well I still went to church yesterday and fornication is still as condemned as adultery.

Speak for yourself.
And if two adults are doing what is wrong, you either advise them to stop, pray for them or mind your business.

bigass.....your question is wrong. Your shiuld replace christians with society.
but its true that adultery is frowned upon more than fornication.....this is justifiable because generally in marriage exclusivity is expected and promised. You both vowed to please only each other sexually(except in cases where its an open relationship).
In the case of fornication.....You will be breaking no promise to anybody.....because you have made no such promise.

Why do you post what you lack the knowledge to discuss. Where did you get your info? Do you attend church at all?

Yes.Understandably, not everyone in church is perfect and there will be cases of unchristianlike behaviour in some members, the leadership can stand out.My leader(pastor) has a high level of integrity.
