Hilarious comments so far, let me get mine off my chest once and for all as Baba God is involved...
Back then as a fresher, we spent cash like we had a secret account in a swiss bank and we could always rely on our parents dotting of their "undergraduate pikin".
After the honeymoon period had elasped, things come red for awon boys and praying for each text received to be an alert turned to a daily routine.
God answered my prayer at last...albeit in an unconventional manner. My food stuff had finished on a friday with absolutely no hope for the weekend which now seemed like a deep dark tunnel without end, and that is when i remembered that there was a deeper life church retreat that weekend which promised free feeding! Within 10 mins in a speed i knew not i possessed, i found myself on the bus to a weekend of spiritual cleansing (*ahem*free chops)...

I don't like stress much. I usually wake up as early as possible for class. Whenever I'm late, I call my peeps for keep space for me.

I practically went to school for the first 3 days without attending classes, the reason was because I no know where the block dey and I no wan ask make dem no call me JJC , I go jux go inside school, hold book for armpit dey form final year... Chai, na so 2 babes come ask me yeye kwesion o. "Pls bros where is accounting department block" I answer dem boldly "just go straight take first left, the building behind this one you're seeing that's the department". As I tok am finish, na run I run comot inside school, before dem come back come know say I jonse o. Lol na lata I know say that place na VC's block o. I no fit laff mysef that day.

As a fresher in school, as commonly known as Jambito or jambite... I was so excited to be a university undergraduate. Moving round the school like someone that has arrived( I nor know say I just start the race).
I did so many crazy things as a fresher which make me laugh when I reflect bad...

1. Going to class to get sit as early as 6:30 ( that matter nor be hear ooo... I just want to sit on the front row).
2. Buying all sort of materials just because they told you you need it but @ the end you end you not reading them....
3. Attending multiple tutorials that at the end you get confused of what they are teaching...
4. Attending almost all parties and social event in school just to feel belong...
5. Going for night class almost everytime just because some people tell you, if you don't you might fail...
6. Wooing any fine girl that comes my way... this one was really fun shall...
7. Was eager to tell everyone the number of A's I had... ( guy how far ur result, guy I got 12A's... geee... you be scholar ooo)

As a fresher in the university, you just want to do everything... it was fun shall...

squatting was my 1st experience,went for health centre reg and we were referred to a private hospital for breast x-ray. I reach hospital finish,enter x-tray room but was shocked @ d site of so many young girls flaunting their tits of diffrnt sizes,shapes and colour(shey me no dey open body for house slf) and waiting for d word"NEXT" o boy con see d man wey dey do d x-ray as he dey sweat on top say e no even wear shirt and dat was where I met my roomie
2.We won't even cook b4 leaving d hostel just to beat eco 101 lecture time but go straight to C.J(colerah joint)to eat fufu. My 1st day in class,I sat dwn and was waiting for d class teacher,checked d wall and culdnt see a time-table and roaster for sweepers,waiting for a bell to ring to announce a change of course I reffered to as subjest den

Smh, really shows you hopped in directly from secondary school.

Student that spend extra years at home either being delayed by jamb or waec tend to be wiser, & don't make as much mistakes as the ones that jump in directly from secondary schools.

Today is my first day in d uni and my dad insisted on taking me to school,Geez! am I not old enough to go alone?

i will probably have a story to tell a year from now...

going to lectures 3times a week with a hangover...drawing up a reading timetable with a note under begging myself to stick religiously to it...writing d name of God on my exam answer sheet to help me write well...
