43 Missing Mexican Students Vs Over 200 Missing Chibok Girls by hayoakins(op):
Okay, Mexico is boiling right now, and thousands have poured out onto the streets in protests. In fact, Mexicans are demanding that their President, Enrique Peña Nieto, tender his resignation. But what happened? 43 university students went missing about a month ago and the government has not been able to find them. They bash him for not visiting the scene of crime or even meeting with the families and relatives of those affected.

The federal prosecutors in Mexico have been searching for almost a month now and all their efforts so far have been fruitless. The students are
teacher trainees and they disappeared on the 26th of September in the city of Iguala. The students were allegedly rounded up by the police over alleged ties with drug gangs.

Anyway, frustrated family members have demanded that President Enrique Peña Nieto sit down with them face-to-face, one-on-one and listen directly to the voice of the parents. But do you know the funniest thing? President Enrique Peña Nieto is one of the very best leaders that Mexico has ever had. Even his opponents give it to him that he is performing brilliantly and his best is yet to come. Nieto was formerly the governor of the State of Mexico, one of the 31 states of Mexico and while he was governor, he did so well that he was able to go for the presidency. As
President, he has launched one of the most successful fights against the drug lords in one of the most violent nations on earth. But now that 43
university students have gone missing and the President and Commander-in-Chief cannot find them, he may be forced to resign if care is not
taken. The Mexicans are not even smiling at his handsome face.

In Nigeria, the President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is being urged to go for a nonsensical 2nd term almost 200 days after hundreds of girls were
abducted. Over 30 mobile police officers went missing in Gwoza after Boko Haram invasion and several soldiers like Colonel Hope Giwa have gone
missing without any trace (his family is still in mourning as I am writing this to you) and many Nigerians are not calling for the resignation of this
dude, but they are telling him to go for a second term. What second term? What magic is he going to perform? You see the biggest problem with Nigeria?

Sentimental Nigerians who cannot just reason and think about either their own future or that of others. But you cannot blame them, they are just incapable of thinking of anything reasonable. By the way, I love President Enrique Peña Nieto but if he cannot find those kids, he should just resign and not taint his good record any further. His six-year term began in 2012.

What are the similarities between these two situations. Maybe you can't figure out the differences because of hate. In Mexico, the persons were rounded up by government agent, police, who did that because it suspected them of being drug peddlers. In the Nigerian case, some opposition party members connived with some terrorists to abduct the girls. Your story no make sense op

So, you're trying to tell us that the Mexican president not doing anything still qualifies him to remain in the seat but GEJ who has put more efforts than expected should go. Nigeria is a corrupt country. In reality, GEJ is not the only leader(if you understand what I mean).

Judging by your moniker, you couldn't have posted anything better. You are forgiven, therefore; go and sin no more i.e. Take off the hat and put on a better thinking cap preferably a Kango smiley

@Ikengawo,
Do you know the Bokos? Uncle Jona is the Chief Commander in Chief of the armed forces and also the sworn in President put in charge of safety and the continuous sovereignty of this nation. Now, you answer your question "who should be questioned?". In another instance, kidnappers came to your house and abducted you, after their disappearance, who would be mandated to ensure all is done to ensure your return? Your FATHER who will later on engage the rescue team maybe the Nigerian Army or the pitiable Nigerian Police

Truly, we need a ideological Revolution.

The goodnews is that the laws under review would give room for independent candidates. If passed then the parties may be unable to impose some incompetent fellows who can purchase over priced nomination forms on us.

you know, when you star to abuse somebody you're supposed to reason with, then you have absolutely nothing to say, it is his view point, which happens to be mine also, I want those girls released very much, but campaigning against the president as if he personally went to chibok and abducted the women is totally wrong, I mean let all of us campaign and protest against the boko haram not the president. Gej is right to feel the way he does land acts because of the wrong approach the bbog campaigners used, by the way, none of the women is in Aso rock, so why go there and disrupt and disturb the peace as if they are locked up somewhere inside there.

The similarities is that there is no differences between a corrupt Nigerian President funds looter and a Mexican drug peddler.
Corruption should be classified as "economic terrorism". GEJ should resign

I understand what you mean and that's the same thing I'm saying about GEJ. We can't just assume that GEJ came down from his seat to kidnap those kids. The issue is also affecting the credibility of him being a good president.

Lots of folks have gone missing including military personnels
And the Govt is doing little about it
We as Nigerians are doing little to force them to do more

One of the major reasons why Nigeria is where we are is because the youths who are suppose to critisize constructively come to Social Media to exhibit their level of unpreparedness to handle sensitive positions. This why we have those who have lost touch with contemporary issues presenting themselves for elective positions. This is not an avenue to insult people but to critique and air your views. Those who have responsible fathers don't come to the public to insult other peoples' parents because he does not insult his/her own parents at home. He/she will surely feel the hurt if someone else insults his/her parents. With this display of childish attitudes, why should people take us seriously. They know that we can be easily bought to fight dirty.

What is your proof that the opposition did it? And let's pretend with you that the opposition did it, what has taken your president ( I refuse to regard him as my president) so long to use the intelligent gathering units both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria to unravel the misery?

Maybe because he is so clue.less and shouldn't have been made president in the first place?

Okay, it is the opposition behind Chibok and the opposition is some spirit that cannot be caught.

What of the 30 missing soldiers? The 20b missing? They said it was not 20b but also said MONEY IS MISSING, where is the money? Did the opposition also illegally transport our money to SA when they should know the law?

It was the opposition that was responsible for he going to a birthday party hours after a bomb blast that killed scores of people right?

It was also the opposition that made it impossible for him to put his wife in her place which led to the show of shame now popularly know as "diaris godu oo" abi?

It is the opposition that made him allow Fayose get away with the rubbish he did in Ekiti too right?

It is probably the opposition that stole the shoe his parents bought for him as well?

See, it is too early in the day to show your foolishness. Stop blaming the opposition, if your president has been up and doing, the opposition would have been put in their place by now if truly they are the ones behind the unrest in the country.

People like you will fail an exam simply because you failed to read and prepare but end up blaming it on one imaginary witch in your village or your father's concumbine(s).

No one insults anyone but a political office has it gains and pains. Anyone who cannot withstand the hit should get out of the kitchen i.e. should never seek election into a political post.

When did electorates demanding for quality services and stewardship from the elected turns to insulthuh

This post has further reinforced my belief to over 500 percent that the Abduction of the Chibok School Girls were carried out by the opposition. We can attest to that through their protest arm BBOG group. I mean what easier way to get rid of Jonathan before 2015 than Kidnap young innocent school kids and call for his resignation afterwards?
New Opposition Tactics: How to Make a President Resign.
* Kidnap and Abduct School Children.
* Form protest organization.
* Call for Resignation after weeks of the abduction.

Very funny. Nothing is hidden under the sun. Those responsible for this new political gimmick of kidnapping for political reasons to forced an elected public officer to resign will surely meet their nemesis. APC is a Joke.
