When do you guys plan on leaving? I live in ijb buh already have 5 other friends that we are leaving together.. The meeting point is Lagos, I learnt there's a direct bus from Lagos to Taraba

I was posted to Taraba batch b but I don redeploy to Oyo.
Lemme give you some hint about Taraba

It's 22 hours from lagos, 14 hours from Abuja(maraba) so the best is start on Sunday, sleep over in Benue then move on Monday. The camp would be available for you people.

About the food, it's nothing to write home about but maami is there to save. If you're are Yoruba and you want to eat good food, visit Busayo but majority of them are Igbo.

The ladies will sleep in the hostel but the boys that come on time would sleep in the few hostel allocated with light. The rest is extension. Very far, no light, no water but you would see those small children to do everything for you.

The soldiers are cool but they might change this batch cause the nysc officials vexed them and they promised to show the next batch pepper.

OC Morale is the surest soldier. If he's your platoon instructor, you will enjoy.

Your physical training would be fun. Aljacaraja position. It's fun.

I don't know what else to say... Just ask, I would answer.

I did mine from Abuja. I know someone that helped me to redeploy. I just tipped him a little. But if you want to follow the normal process of redeployment, go with a medical report.

And they would bring people from Abuja to test you, so if you're using asthma, buy inhaler along. I know people it worked for and some it didn't work for.

Only Jalingo, Zing, Gembu and Wukari are 60% developed. Whatever happen, don't goto Wukari LG, they are at war. They didn't even post Corpers there.

Many LG don't have light, network, banks and the houses are mud. Dirty sets of people.

Ashewo too much. The state pays 10k to corpers.

Taraba is at crisis currently and their own pass boko haram. In your camp, na those Aboki go much. You go laugh tire. You go see like 80% of those Aboki with second class upper but to fill form go be problem.

To spell and write their name na wahala, their dressing go just make you laff but you will meet brilliant ones.

All of them will come with medical report that they are going back to their northern state.

The state coordinator is very friendly and understanding.

By plane. Book a ticket to Yola. That's the closest airport. From Yola to Taraba is just 5 hours.

But it's 95% sure that your redeployment would work. We were close to 2500 over 1500 redeployed.

Those that were rejected or didn't apply later applied and they just redeployed last week to ondo cause they were attacked by fulani with guns and cutlass in their home.

Depending on your ppa but accommodation is fair. You only get free accommodation at zing and Gembu LG.

Gembu is nice. 30 minutes to Cameroon. The LG gives each corper free accommodation with rug and mattress. The LG also pays 10k to corpers apart from the state and federal allawee. But mosquitoes will finish you. It's always cold in Gembu and Zing cause snow falls in both local government.

Zing has fresh fruits, and beautiful ladies. White people plenty for zing and park self dey.

But election is a war in Taraba. Just be close to those Yoruba staffs. They will tell you.
