Hello guys...I'm in a very confused corner about dis whole sure-p tin..I'm a registered member for the program buh some weeks back,a company called me up and asked if I new anything about sure-p which I answered in affirmative and den I was told to fwd my email address to receive a mail for test and interview invite which I complied...So I had the interview and the test and I got a call to come resume for the job by next week...buh wot am confused about is this,during d interview,remuneration wasn't discussed and I ddnt get any confirmation from GIS about any company matched with my profile...my question exactly is,does the scheme works like this sometimes and am a little confused on how the coy got my number anyways....I guess I have most of the questions to ask the company but I'll like some1 who as much experience about cases like this scheme to share his/her info prior to my meeting the company...thanks as I await your kind response.

Your case may be a case of employers finding you online on GIS website..Its a two way thing..Its either you are requested online or requested through manual matching..Whichever way,your employer will still go and match u online even if you were registered manually..So,your case may be genieu and at the same time,scam..My piece

Your bank wil send u a txt confirming your account and be sure to know that,your employer has matched you online..Thats all..With that,you will get your stipends timely should he also fill and submit your timesheet/activate your status to ''Higher Status" online and in time..Why this thing has so many ish is dat,its need an online-kind-of-guy from the employer to handle it properly for you..Sadly,most of the employers are old clueless folks who are only more intrested in getting cheap labour than knowing how to help you process your stipend

The deadline will be about the 5th of next month. Normally towards the end of the first week of the following month.

puntersmind ....I Am already a victim of What u said,I have absolutely no idea about dis before I went for d fair at warri,(a lot of interns Happy home without confirming if they have bin match or not) So, when the company accepted me,I was Happy Until I get to the stage of matching when I realize that the company name was not among the in their (SURE-P) database, I was So disappointed.... I sent SURE-P a mail about it but no reply, I called the manager of the company and he keep saying he is working on it....Seriously,.I need to know if I should take my mind off this SURE-P program entirely or if there is Hope for me, also how possible it is for the issue to be resolve.... u have being a helping hand here and God will bless u for your reply and advice...... I fear for some of the Interns matched at Enugu Fair. Some of the companies involved in the process over there were not approved and as such the Company will NEVER be up for intern matching online. The interns believe they are successful after the manual matching at the fair, For a matching process to be successfully done, the company has be be approved. If approved, the company becomes 'Active' online and can be seen on the matching screen. A particular company at the Enugu fair absorbed 6 interns and they all thought they have been properly matched, after one of the intern contacted me, I discovered that the company was not even approved. To all concerned: Ask questions, make sure the Company who you were matched with is approved, so you don't waste your time.

Thanks man! I'm yet to receive any msg frm d bank and how long does it take to get d update frm bank after d fair?...my status online stil reads "not yet matched", i guess my employer is yet to do dt.
