Muma Gee Joins Politics Under PDP: Singer, Nollywood Actor Prince Eke’s Wife Running For House Of Rep In Rivers State.

Popular singer Gift Iyumame Eke aka Muma Gee, the wife of Nollywood actor Prince Eke has officially joined politics.

On Thursday, October 30th, 2014, she made her intention to represent her people known at the PDP secretariat in Rivers State.

Come 2015 Muma Gee will be running for Federal House of Representative in Abua/Odua and Ahoada East LGA of Rivers State under PDP party.

The experienced singer has done a very good job of placing her people in Ahoada on the global map.

She picked up her nomination form on Thursday around 3pm.

every entertainer is joining politics abi? That was how d craze for singing came and every actor turned a singer yet they failed.
I just hope they won't fail this time around.

I doubt if all these celebs joining politics hve good intentions... I can only vouch for Kenneth okonkwo, kate and Desmond.. The rest na them sabi wetin dem wan come officiate

A very welcomed development, if you ask me. Time for old men like Buhari to give chance for young people to be heard. Congrats to all celebrities who are leading the way. Just like Entertainment Industry is the major attraction to youths, politics will eventually be possible. This possibility, believe and hope for winning has been cultivated in others because; A fisherman's son made it. GEJ is a leading example that everything is possible.

I am particularly impressed that Muma Gee didnt settle for a losing party.

It's no longer fascinating,one of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.

Wow, instead of muma gee to go and suck up to her former employee don jazzy, she is going to PDP to become the official party mistress. May God help you Muma Gee as you would definitely be used to warm the bed of those politicians.

News like this make me wonder if this people running for political posts do so out of interest and willingness to right the wrongs of the past administrations, to serve the people or out of sheer greed to know what it feels like to occupy the office and make money.
