Am sure you have not travelled to the East. Do yourself a favour by visiting any of the cities in the Eastern Region before you come online to spew rubbish.
i dont spew rubbish i speak with facts and figures. Go check the distribution and census figures from inception. go check the numbers of daily exodus from your enclave and compare with people going into the South EAst. INEC just released it voting strength figures, go take a good look at it and educate your empty nut of a head you carry around.

there are daily updates of cries for government help in road and physical infracstructure from your people back home. No rOAD, NO WORK, NO Investement just Baby factory and kidnapping industry.

some of us dont spew rubbish as you claim we come with facts and figures.

I have always have a soft spot for PDP but that did not stop me from doing the right thing which is giving ribadu my vote against yaradua.
GEJ is not the best candidate but btw him and buhari I will go with GEJ
your choice, your vote.

Most Igbos will do so between the two of them, since Buhari was a soldier and an active participant in the victory over Ojukwu. it is understandable and acceptable. trust me the entire vote of the south east will not benefit GEJ in 2015. the vote of Kano state for GMB will tally the entire vote GEJ will get in the entire South East in the 5 states you have in the zone

The ghost vote of 2011 wont work in 2015, hope you heard INEC will use Card reader next year? things not looking good for GEJ at all.

dont you think the MAXIM quite describe you.

counter the fact that your SE enclave is the least populated region in Nigeria, Counter the fact that your brothers run out of your enclave in their thousands everyday in search of the golden fleece in the SW and the North.

Transporters in the West use minibus to move around, but una they pack them in luxurious buses everyday. Haba if your place is productive, you think they will run in their thousands daily?

Youre repeating what i said. It is about sentiments, fairytales, scaremongering, myth and rumour and not the truth or the reality.

vote whosoever you desire, mam. Other NIgerians that have the numbers and zones to pursue the PDP will do the neeedful next year.

you can continue to vote the PDP and be stuck with the likes Theodore Orji and the old man in Ebonyi and continue suffering maladministration and failure in governance and political leadership. But when other everyone will be called to bear his or her father's name, your people in lagos and kano will know those places are not NO MAN'S LAND as they are gullibly told.

Those Brown roofs describes ancient civilizations just like the pyramids in Egypt does when your people where living with apes in the forest and in bamboo made huts. The present day Koma people aptly describes the ways of your forebears before the whitemen arrived.

Stomach Infracstructure was and is a PDP invention, think fayose copied it from the way your people loved and enjoyed the INDOMIE NOODLES infracstructure Ifeanyi Uba introduced in last year's election in Anambra state.

You said it all - there is nothing left to say.

Sibabasibaba1:
Do we now need any other evidence that Buhari was the chief planner of the 31 December 1983 coup? Buharistans always tell white lies that their pay master never plotted any coup but was in fact INVITED by the planners of the 1983 coup to become Head of State because of his honesty. Even after Buhari side-steped questions on his involvement in the coup, he exposed himself through this comment:

“Yes. Remember how many people he killed subsequently for trying to overthrow him? But when I came in, there was
no bloodshed. I think a couple of policemen were killed and [Brigadier Ibrahim] Bako also died in
an ambush. “But deliberately, nobody was killed".

Indeed, the comment above does not suggest that Buhari did not know about the coup. It does not suggest that Buhari was only invited to lead Nigeria by the coup's dramatis personae as we have been erroneously made to believe.

By saying "deliberately, nobody was killed", Buhari is stating clearly here that 'we met and agreed that we should not shed much blood. We should only kill if there is resistance by Shehu Shagari's guards.

Indeed, this has vindicated Tanko Yakassai's revelation that Domkat Bali told his wife in 1983 that "they were meeting in Buhari’s house to stage a coup. Buhari was the GOC in Jos at the time, and he told her not to tell anyone" ( see: http://premiumtimesng.com/news/150148-exclusive-why-dying-yaradua-was-sneaked-into-nigeria-without-jonathans-knowledge-tanko-yakasai.html).

So, when Buharistans tell you again that their principal never plotted any coup, refer them to how their principal 'deliberately' did not want people to be killed during the coup.

The problem of Buhari is his blind followers. They present him as a flawless and perfect man who has the magic wand to solve Nigeria's huge problems. So, they perpetuate lies to sell him even when history is there to show that Buhari has too many flaws. Buhari is nothing but an idealess, visionless criminal coup plotter who as a young man in his early 40s could not achieve anything in his 20 month despotic reign.

We can't allow a man with analogue ideas to rule us in this digital age. To paraphrase Bill Clinton on Bob Dole, it is not the age of Buhari that is our problem, it is the age of his ideas'.

...NO ma'am! The NA now is far different from the one's of those days..in terms of integrity and loyalty!. Then coup plotting was rife and the order of the day..UNLIKE now, when the tides are calm..even a school principal can command our present day NA..and these degeneration started during the GEJ's govt..he decided to bring dem actively into politics for his selfish gains to harass unarmed civilians! Even in the OBJ's govt, our army WAS NEUTRAL and so were objective in their work..dat was why UN always entrust NA for their peace-keeping operations in Africa! But what has been made of the Army now?? Just look at how the Chief of Defence staff(Alex Badeh), the Defence headquarters spokesman(Brig Gen Chris Olukolade) and Chief of Army staff(Maj Gen Kenneth Minimah) are mince meat of the previous glory of the NA..especially how they have taken sides with govt on chibok scandal...Jonathan successfully crippled all institutions, that's why they can hardly stand on their own..he just makes it difficult for you to be against him...when he said, he knew about the bokoharam members in his govt, what has he done to them?? Has any been prosecuted or made to face the full weight of the law or even made scapegoat? That statement alone is indicting!

I was aware ibro was planning to overthrow the government, I did not move against it because I detest unnecessary bloodshed.

the full transcript of the interview is delivered below in a subsequent post.

compare the act of a patriotic, overzealous and detribalized Nigerian who went the extreme to bring his own kinsman in a most daring way to make him pay for his economic crime to the country with another who despite a clear case of corruption home and abroad against the person, gave his brothers and his boss as he called him, a presidential pardon and a National Merit Award for knowing how to steal well well.

Talking about Buhari and his legacy of great service to this country gives the hope that despite the hard times this country faces there is still hope at the end of this storm that JonaTAN and PDP in its 15 horrible years of misrule represents in the annals of this great sleeping giant of a nation.

our journey towards rediscovery and redirection starts next year and by God's Grace, we shall never face this monster call PDP again in our National drive towards greatness.

What a dumbass statement. It was a necessary bloodshed on July 29, 1966 as you killed officers of Nigerian armed forces of Igbo descents. The moronic nincompoop frantically attempted to kill his company commander, Captain Megwa. Yet the his then company commander did not have whiff of the January 15, 1966 coup before it commenced.

People don't read but are just fascinated by the title of a post even if it was the newspaper trying to colour statements to gather more appeal to buyers.

Buhari has no sole powers to query activities of junior officers in a successful coup attempt. He control no troops and he has no option since the populace where in total support of the coup.

It will be a suicide attempt for the military chief in burkina faso to try force the president to remain in power with the popular rage of the people despite his closeness to the president .

People should get acquainted with the military command during a military coup, you either support the winning side and live or you die fighting it. Shagari was already out before buhari was contacted in faraway jos.

This interview goes beyond the babangida issue and people should read and not just take the title and be judgemental. Babangida is the army chief and equally the arrowhead of the shagari overthrow. Buhari knows he has no loyal troop in lagos since he didn't command troops in lagos so he knows if the same cabal wants him out he has no powers to stop them knowing how grounded they are.
Bro there are tons of differences between the phrases such as "Before the coup", "During the coup" and "After the coup". The C-in-C has pure raw power to control coup before it takes place unless a delusional C-in-C such as Ironsi. Also, the C-in-C has considerable powers to direct events after the coup. The bolded can only be mildly true if Buhari was not a member of inner circle that instigated the successful coup attempt or he was simply a figure head.
