Why does an Igbo need the presidency?

I think the presidency needs an Igbo more than an Igbo needs the presidency.... given all the hate, blackmail and nonsense thrown at GEJ, one can only imagine, if overtly or covertly, an Igbo becomes president.... even if he goes to the loo, he will be criticized. Nigerians need some growing up to do, me thinks Igbos are too mature and don't need that kind of nonsense... someone else, please.
tit:
You Ibos are making a mistake.
You better think twice.
When Obasanjo was president I am sure many people taunted you guys and said the earliest an Igbo man could be president would be 2015.
Now 2015 is tomorrow and there is no hope for an Igbo president.
it might be wise to take up tbaba's offer and maybe get an Igbo president in 2023.

Be wise!

Rochas does not have the following that Buhari has. Apart from the SE/SS, Buhari is very popular in other parts of the country. Plu, i don't think it would be acceptable in parts of the north.

Unfortunately, Nigerian politics is still heavily influenced by ethnicity not competence.
Listen to yourself again, so buhari has supporters in the north while Rochas has more in the south? Then make rochas flag bearer while buhari the running mate so they could mop up votes across nigeria.

Come to think of it, that would or should make more sense:

a seemingly Yoruba party...

with a (southern) Igbo (Christian) flag-bearer....

- and a (northern/Moslem) Fulani vice-presidential flag-bearer...

but we all know tis not gonna happen; we aint there yet.

Would that arrangement be acceptable to either party? I do not think a former head of state would accept a running mate role with a young Okorocha as his boss. Theoretically, it looks like an idea, but realistically it can not work.

Igbos are for GEJ!..
Buhari should pick his fellow fulani normads as a running mate. Even if buhari should pick an eastener as his VP, he won't get any single vote ..
Buhari can never become President of NIGERIA again as long as we are one country!
Am just waiting for 2015 when he will lose the election and that his shitty party full of hypocrites would disintegrate.
I support u dear

what has age got to do with ousting goodluck from aso rock? I think that's the main aim of the opposition party? Pls check the deputy governor of bayelsa state who was a retired airforce man, he is far older than dickson the governor, has that stopped them from working? Age has nothing to do with performance cum ousting goodluck from aso rock.
