I have a hard time finding a Nigerian politicians from the north that isn't fulani let alone one with an actual seat. I thought Kwankwaso was an actual hausa man until I learned other wise. The strange thing is they're not even the majority but they represent 90% of the northern political class. Which politicians in the north aren't fulani. Forget that APC's 3 front runners (Buhari, Atiku, Kwankwaso) are basically cousins. 1 Like |

Plenty lies as usual. The entire north east has only 2 governors ( Bauchi and Adamawa) possibly Fulani. 1 is even impeached leaving 1 in contention.Gombe,Taraba,Borno,Yobe are certainly not Fulani. In the north west. Doubt they exceed 50%. Your assumption they may be Fulani's because they inter marry will be erroneous. If there father is Hausa for instance then you know things change. Also someone like ex gov shekarau is not in anyway Fulani. North central. I strongly doubt they even have one. So how is it in your wild fictions you arrive at the conclusion they run the state politics. In short go beyond the governors to God fathers and tell me how many Fulani's are king makers. Even Babangida is not Fulani. Go through the northern ministers present and past. They hardly hold 10%. 5 Likes |

King makers aren't Fulani? Every single emir is literally Fulani what are you talking about? Here's a list of some well known fulani politicians Governor Rabui Kwankwaso hakanai:Sokoto State, Jigawa State, Katsina, Kebbi, Kano, Kaduna.... it's only Zamfara that has an hausa leader of all the hausa states. |
