For Batch C14 stream 1 they have 19days to evacuate the Orientation camp
For Batch C14 stream 2 we have 20 days to be in camp and 15days to get our call up letter.

At least 10 university graduates got
involved in a multiple car accident along
Ore-Benin highway, between Okada and
Ogbemudia farm on Tuesday night.
According to PM News, the accident
involved an articulated truck and two
commercial buses belonging to Onitsha-
based Cross Country and Warri-based
Agofure Motors.
National Youth Service Corps members
were heading to Bayelsa state from Lagos
and Ibadan for orientation for the Batch C
of the National Youth Service Corps, in
Kaiama.


The youths were travelling in a 15-seater
Cross Country bus that crashed into a
moving articulated truck in front of it, while
the bus behind it (Agofure Motors) also
rammed into the Cross Country bus.
Six of the Corps members have sustained
varying degrees of injuries and were
immediately rushed to the University of
Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), where
they are currently receiving medical
assistance.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is
an organisation set up by the Nigerian
government to involve the country’s
graduates in the development of the
country.
There is no military conscription in Nigeria,
but since 1973 graduates of universities
and later polytechnics have been required
to take part in the National Youth Service
Corps (NYSC) program for one year. This is
known as national service year.

Members of the NYSC Batch B Stream II
corps members will be paid their
outstanding August Allowances during their
orientation exercise.
Their orientation exercise which is belated
in 9 states is ongoing from 4th November
to 25th November.
Reports from the NYSC orientation camp in
Kengere, Bauchi State have it that the
NYSC State Coordinator, Alh. Abdulahi
made this known during the State
Coordinator’s welcome address this
evening.

if you have not seen your name, it means the state you were posted has a large population of corp members, so NYSC shed some into stream 2...keep calm, you are not alone, nov 26th on ma broad mind

lol well in a way tho.... I guess we r fortunate enuf,,,... Now that the FG has passed a bill concernin the 500naira daily allowance, den the first allowee will result to 30k..... Its a step in the right direction.... So i think God is plannin smth good for us...meanwhile, stream 2 corp members wouldnt be as much as the stream 1 corp members so evrythn would be quite easy for us wen we get to camp

For me the good thing abt dis stream II is that the anxiety is not as much as b4 cos i dont find myself day dreaming abt camp activities and those kind things.. right now am just patiently waiting for 26th
But real ehm the boredom is not funny oh.. abeg who has coping strategies for this boredom
