Was it four buses that killed the soldier?
Was that journalist or the man on phone who was slapped the driver?
Listen to yourself. Are 4 buses equal to the life of a veteran soldier ?

That is why there is a justice system in place to deal with drivers who hit people. Should everybody apply jungle justice because they lost a loved one?

Chei! so Nigeria sojas can quickly close road against offenders and burn their vehicles to ashes like this? If this how active they are, BH would have become past tense. Small time now some APC members will be crying Jonathan cannot protect brt and its reckless drivers.

it looks like he has been stalking the Nigerian army all over.
From Bama, Borno to Ikorodu rd lagos and then to Palmgrove.
He does not seem to be an impartial witness to the truth.
He just seems so jaundiced and full of biased opinions.

And maybe, he seems to have to have something against female soldiers.
Is he afraid of the men?
Why is he trying to pin everything on an unknown female soldier?
He does not come across as an unbiased, credible, truthful witness.
he seems to have made up more than half the story.
Did you even bother to read and fully comprehend what he posted before you started ranting? Na so una dey take fail exam undecided
To more important stuff:
Our military personnel are a paradoxical bunch. They'll gladly flee from insurgents in mubi and come and terrorise innocents in lagos. I think they should all be posted to the north so they channel their lame aggression towards Boko Haram

. My problem with some Nairalanders as well as some Nigerians as a whole is that they do fail to castigate those that commits a crime but are always quick to condemn someone who may not be have been involved or in a scene of a crime. Was Goodluck the one who placed the economy to what it is today? No! But for the fact thay he has been in power for just 4 years or a little more, he has be classified to be the destroyer of the country been majorly ruled by some northerners since after independence. Now on ur comment, the army did something wrong, rather than condemn the army or their top hierarchy who failed to call thier boys to other(since duties have been delegated to them) Goodluck is now been condemned. It's so unfortunate. Freedom of Information doesn't mean speak without been constructive and unbiase. Are the military fools not to know that those social amenities been provided by the government is from our resources and are meant for all? Are they not wise enough to understand that thier actions may slow down the process of development as what they destroy may take long to be put in place? Africans should learn how to channel thier grievances to the right people not to those who may not have been involved in a crime. We should learn how to preserve our properties rather than destroy them and yet cry of underdevelopment. Now, rather than u condemning those military first, you were just quick to attack mr president who was not in the scene of the events; just like the military failing to solely punish who ever is responsible, they were busy bestowing thier anger on innocent citizens and buses that never knocked their colleague down. Its bad. Africans and Nigerians should rise above any type of sentiments. I wonder why some people hates the President so much. Hmmm.

Just 4 years ? Are you kidding ? Give birth to a kid today and make it grow four years now now

If people were being punished / reprimanded for crimes they commit. I'm sure they won't burn 4 BRT buses

I wasn't there but I think if that soldier wasn't on BRT lane he wouldn't be killed.

Not that he deserved to die. If it was a civilian who died would the soldiers be kind enough to chase and arrest the BRT driver ?

If it was an Army member who killed a civilian would civilians raid the nearest barracks in reprisal ?

I guess my point is that if there's rule of law and its being enforced by the executive office. Normalcy would return to Nigeria

Every Nigerian has a right to life. A right to equality and a right to speak / defend himself at the court of law

If soldiers are deeply enjoying jungle justice why won't Aluu 4 happen among several other cases ?

Cause and effect bro. If you do something wrong and get away with it . you've given other would be offenders the psychological ginger to do more than what you did

If you don't understand that everything is the fault of the presidency for being a dog in a book that can't order , command , punish or uphold the law in favor of the masses who sent them to office then you are on a loooooong thing [/size]

So you support what the soldiers did? You should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you are not a soldier; because if you are, then you don't deserve your uniform. Up to 80% of Nigerian soldiers do not deserve to be in the army.

BRT drivers are jut too reckless and Fashola thinks that the punishment for using BRT lane should be death so I feel the soldiers acted well, I only pity the owners of the burnt buses.

Nigeria drivers are too wreckless, and majority of them are unstable drunken drivers everywhere. On top this malady, the BRF drivers riding on molue spirit see themselves as invisible and uncautionable, this is a gross abuse of the fast-track dedicated lane. Let state govt track their excesses with monitoring teams to curtail this recurrent ugly events. Human Lives are highly sacred to toy with it irrespective of being in uniform or not. Lets increase our value for life as seen in western world where we are trooping out to celebrate.
By the way did this happen today? Or was it a previous one, if so why is it on the front page today?

Sometimes, I wonder if our founding fathers understand what it was meant by "Independent" before they really took it in 1960. There's no sign of any of it in Nigeria yet. Nigeria is still in bondage of corruption, intimidation, nepotism, etc. Truly, we need to be re-colonize. Benin republic is far better a country to reside than my home country call Nigeria.

then are u justifying the action of the military? Mr. Don't get me wrong. I am not saying the president should not take responsibility on situations, but when some people have failed to discipline themselves on situations which they can, how come u accuse someone else? The military might have broken the law by riding on the BRT lane so he was knocked down, he has failed first and the issue of ur cause and effect comes in. The BRT driver who failed to control his speed and failed to understand that though the military defaulted, he should have applied caution also failed and resulted to the punishment of other ppl, destruction of properties etc you expect the president to call and say what u are about doing is not good? If that is the case, animals are better that such set of individuals. Are we animals that have failed to understand that jungle justice is foolishness? Have we failed to understand that those lives been killed are people like us and not animals? In a land of underdevelopment, how can we be destroying the little we have yet complain of poverty and underdevelopment? Two wrongs don't make a right. My people say they don't tell an elderly to leave the sun. Just like the north that is been destroyed and some northerners are busy accusing the president to leave office rather than come together and proffer a lasting solution while continuing in thier power struggle are busy folding thier hands waiting till thier sits on that throne. Ppl like Buhari and some northern state governors who would have suggested a lasting solution to the crisis are busy avoiding the State meeting. Its simply foolishness, wickedness and a show of animalistic behavior. So If some ppl believe the system have failed, then for such reason fail to do the right thing, then who should you blame? C'mon ppl should be constructive.
