Even before now, read messages were double marked the only diff now is the blue color. So to me o, once I see the double mark( wether blue, black or green)I know the person has read my message. When the person doesnt read it its just a single mark.

single mark means not delivered

double mark means delivered, but not read

double blue mark means read
