I like the staircase, very simple and easy to use.

We have now got our chippings and nothing else is holding us back from casting this decking on Monday next week.

@ spyder880 , what is the spacing you use for the rings of a reinforcement of lintels or columns, assuming u are using 16mm rods for ur pillars or columns and wants to use a 10mm rods to tie them round as ring, what space will u give apart before another ring and what is the spacing for the deck slab iron work, thanks.

Depends on specification, but give a spacing of 9 inches.

The rains has been keeping us busy, but work is winding down now, last guys completing this decking now.

We completed this decking slab yesterday evening.

And the rains has been intense this morning, a huge blessing for the decking as it cures. ....

This is the side we cast yesterday just before the rains started.

The staircase area. .....

I am satisfied with the final results. .... very good cast.

As we take a few days break from this site to allow for the curing of this decking slab, we pray for more rains. I will also keep my boys on site so we can pump water up and wet this deck if the rains don't fall.

We are supposed to be faster than this, but just observing all the necessary protocols. We are going to speed off again on Monday next week. Meanwhile, the boys can rest and recharge.
