I am sure quite a number of you JobLanders will agree with me that it’s about time we had a chat room in this section. The most important reason being the constant derailing of serious threads which may span into pages.

Hence forth, IGNORANCE IS NO EXCUSE: All trivial gists, gossips, discussions, chat-ups, e-toasting etcetera should be done on this thread. Any defaulter to the normal Nairaland rules shall be... well, fill in the Gap. Also, if you have any questions for the Mods, if you want to abuse me / us, please feel free to do it here.

You can even hook-up, plan a meeting or a coup, just about anything.

Ok sorry for that, last year April, I was told that there is recruitment in ministry of environment, that it's cost 300k so I apply and gave him the cash, he said by December 2013 we will start training, we did for 6month,and he said after training we will start work. Up till now nothing from him, when I call, he doesn't pick, is name is Alex,

How long have you been trying his phone number? If months, then his fullname? Account number (the bank gurus cld help here)? Phone number? Other relevant details?

bintudon, i really don't know what to tell you. . does the man work with Ministry of Envi or just a random person who does training? did you make proper enquiry before payment? Has he contacted others? even if you wanted to make the payment, you should have paid just a percentage, then complete upon receiving your employment letter. ...

Anyway, the deed's been done... I think you should provide his details so that people can take it up from there...Sorry for your predicament

Firstly, thanks for sharing here, am sure some peeps will learn from your post.
Secondly, where did u guys do the 6 months training? was it not in the Ministry of Environment?
Thirdly, Did it not occur to you at some point that it could be a SCAM? and its almost a year.May be u should wait till December 2014 when its A year before u will realize that you may have lost the Money and its time u moved on.
Fourthly, WHAT DO U REALLY WANT US TO DO FOR YOU?.....cos we are not sure Alex is on Nairaland and the last time I checked this is not EFCC website.
