hello my fellow brethren, i'm so confused here,
its obvious music is something we cant live without ,be it gospel or circular( worldly)music,
My question here is this: listening to worldly musics as born again christian a worker for that matter is it a sin?
pls i need sincere answers

Now listen, before you conclude if a particular secular music is sinful or not, I will advice you to weigh the content of the song and test it with Philippians 4:8

While not specifically speaking of music, Philippians 4:8 is an excellent guide for every Christian “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” If we should be thinking about such things, surely those are the things we should invite into our minds through music and lyrics. Can the lyrics in a secular song be true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy? If so, then there is nothing wrong with a Christian listening to a secular song of that nature.

But they don't know that it's their heart that actually controls the kind of music they download on their phone . . If your heart can control you to download such musics then your heart must be filled with more of such cos it's said in the bible that, "Out of the abundance of the heart,the mouth speaketh"

not necessarily u download those songs, in commercial buses and ur private cars they play those songs there, songs u hear u don't forget. Can u close your ear?
