Virtually all higher institutions (both private and public) mandated all prospective students offered admission to make this payment. I paid the sum of N3, 000 has an acceptance fee 11 years ago and presently, this fee ranges from N10, 000 and above. It's now a common procedures for an intended students into any Nigerian institutions to pay for UTME form/Application form, Post UTME, acceptance fee and school fees.  In my opinion, i think an offer could be accepted with an expression of interest without making any outrageous payment.  Your views please...  |

After paying acceptance fee you still pay clearance fee even in federal unis Our govt don't see anything wrong with that That's why we need to vote out GEJ and PDP we need total transformation not money bag transformation!! 1 Like |

I've always wondered what the rationale behind this "acceptance fee" is. These institutions just take delight in exploiting the already down trodden students. |
