Why not? When he's using it to achieve his political ambition. I wonder why everyday GEJ is about to do something, a day to that very event innocent soul most be killed. Forinstance, Nyanya bombing, Chibok girls abduction, all this tragic incidence happened a day to his visit Kano to receive decamped Kano politians. Now look at yesterday's tragedy (GSSS Potiskum, Yobe State). And none of the tragedies prevent or force him from going ahead with what he plans to do, despite the grief that the families, friends & relatives of the victims are going through. WAS'T COINCIDENCE OR CONSPIRACYhuh
OK what happened before he went to sokoto to receive decampees. What happened before his TAN rallies? What is the importance of their rally in kano when we know that holding it doesnt add to his chances? What is the importance of his declaration when we already know that he I s running? It's better you stop spreading this crazy idea that those things happen to prevent him from doing them. Do these things happen when he wants to do things that affect s Nigerians positively?

There is nothing he could have done to stop it already planned declaration. Not as easy as that.

However, his contesting despite the unrest, insecurity, economy crisis, an uncontrollable wife on rampage, corruption and what have you is heartless and greedy.

He has done f*ck all to deserve a second coming.
what is he declaring? tell me who does not know GEJ is re-contesting, d mumu is just wasting nigeria precious time. he cannot continue failing us.

It's important you know that GEJ's declaration Rally was scheduled and planned well in advance to hold on the 11th of Nov which happens to be today since October, soon after Mr President bought his nomination form. Isn't it curious that just a day to his declaration rally, a bomb went off? Isn't it curious that a secondary school this time was targeted? Why? To generate the needed backlash by inciting the Nigerian public against GEJ and force him to postpone his declaration bit. Isn't that height of great wickedness to kill scores of school children because of politics? Do you now see why many of us believe that Boko Haram are works of demons in human form out to frustrate GEJ and make governance difficult for him. Luckily for us GEJ is a strong individual. His records speak for him. Hence the desperation by enemies of Nigeria to stop him from seeking second term.

Besides, the secondary school in question belongs to the state government. Why is nobody condeming the state government for allowing the school open? Am sure you are aware that the federal government closed down it's unity school in all three states currently ravaged by boko haram. Why did the state government not close down its schools if it feels security cannot be guaranteed? Why was the school not closed? Interestingly GEJ is now the one blamed for the bomb blast, in a state secondary school. As if he was the one who ordered the school open.

We all know those responsible for the dead of innocent school children. They will pay for their sins one way or another.
if u calm down and read ur comment or give it ti the next sane person to read it and explain wat you hv just written to you, you will find out that in all sincerity YOU RE A FOO.L

This is the height of insensitivity on the part of of president - Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, just a day after almost 50 children lost their lives due to an attack by Boko haram, our dear president is declaring for a second term. Shouldn't he have postponed this campaign to at least commiserate with the families of those who lost their lives?
Have you asked yourself why these bombings seem to come a day before a presidential rally that had been scheduled for weeks.

All that have been happening, are to derail the president and the presidency, from providing good governance, and pursuing both a personal, and a collective ambition. Mr. President can never, will never, and must never give the opposition cum terrorists what they want.

Whatever you feel the president's "inadequacies" doesn't matter. Who else are you confirming would have performed any better under such man-made tension-soaked, heated atmosphere? Drop the sympathies, shed the sentiments, be realistic.

@ op, while i agree that it is a lil insensitive 2 rally just a day after the potiskum bombing, it is also insensitive of u 2 expect gej 2 postpone the rally. Haba! Do u know how much had been spent? The VIPs invited?? The energy spenthuh The time put in2 organising the rallyhuh? The sheer effort put in amassing such large number of peoplehuh?? ETC...so u can see that he just had no choice but to proceed else ALL these would have been a TOTAL WASTE!

I laugh in Swahili...hehehahahhiiihhihi

APC thought that by bombing the Potiskum school it'll deter GEJ from declaring undecided
Una desperation is unbecoming.
Keep on gambling with people's life to discredit GEJ.

with all these allegations, who and who have been brought to book? How long will we thrive on throwing blames?
naijaking1:
You threatened violence if the president chooses to seek election as a free citizen of this country.
You sponsor violence, because you suspect the president will declare to run
No you ask , if it's ok for him to declare , because of the violence you're causinghuh
If GEJ is not allowed to run because of violence, forget about Nigeria, nobody would ever run and win elections again, because of guarranted violence from the opposition.
