When he said that he was talking about being intellectually poor and which I believe you are aware but just trying to remain relevant in this forum or you are just being mischievous or better still you didn't even understand what he meant.

Fine, let's go with your argument. Buhari had to borrow money to buy his form whixh means he's poor while GEJ had no shoes but because of his wealth of intelligence, he was picked by Alams to be his deputy and was subsequently picked to be the Vice president and later president. We have had cause to believe that during Buhari's reign as head of state, it was Idiagbon that brought all the ideas. So who is actually poor within these two?

Finally, Buhari is a "Major General" and not a "General". They don't play with these ranks in the military, so people should address him properly. Its an insult to Generals to call him General.
Go hang!
It's General Buhari, d ppls General cool

@cramjones.. myles was right in a sense.. never allow a poor illiterate become a leader. He will only employ like-minded illiterates to guide him.. does that not show you why the country since independence is the way it is today.. always placing idi0ts in positions of power and when sh1t hits the fan.. we run to God like the ignobly imbecilic children of israel

@cramjones/ffk, if your understanding of 'poor' is financial/material lack only, then sorry to say, you are indeed poor !

Cramjones, explain more. Who made Jonathan a slave?
Who told you he didn't have his own money before being president?
are you saying that someone who was once poor can't be a president? Even if he was destined to be?
Are trying to make us know that a poor man can't change the future of a nation?
Are you trying to make us understand that poor people are not regarded?
are you rich?
were you born rich?

Pls, who do you intend to sit on that seat. I need to know, because when he does, poor people will be slaves. And that's wickedness.

I think the the concept/idea of the post creator is definitely wrong.
What we need are people with integrity and rich in character to occupy positions of authority and not clueless financially rich people who are completely lacking in integrity and character as displayed by majority of the politicians who represent the people at the moment.

One cannot give what one doesnt have, hence if a slowpoke is assigned to a position of authority , he will also only surround himself with morons who can reason like him, as one need to be able to reason on the same intellectual level as those around him.

The issue should not be a matter of financial wealth but simple of character wealth cause a financially poor man with a rich character and integrity will surround himself with like minds and will easily bring this nation out of its dilapidated state.

This is the singular problem with our nation; ill-qualified people with no clue and lacking in character and integrity and by extension no desire eo eradicate the suffering of the masses occupying position of authority.

Its that simple, fix the root of the problem and you automatically fix all symptoms of the problem

Poverty in this sense is a mind set. Even a rich man can be poor.

Example of the poorest man in power is T.A.Orji. He came in as a physically poor man. 4yrs after his first looting, his mindset still remain poor and he's still looting. 4yrs now, nutin to show for his 8yrs in service. He's even going for senate to continue looting, while his wife and son are also going for political posts.

The opinion of this op is not the opinion of APC.
His he not a known apc member on this forum? Why is apc and there people always try to sway away from the truth.

That is his opinion and I think he have every right to kill himself because he believe that is the right way and some of us here will give him a good location to do that without causing any commotion.

APC denying their members since 2013.

Cramjones, point of correction. Jonathan is not poor, was never poor and is not a slave. Yorubas are always making silly statements, because I remember Tunde Bakare making such statement in the past.

No intelligent man can make the kind of statements you make in this forum. From announcing your desire to do charity to claiming friendship with people you are not qualified to buckle their sandals.

Jonathan, from the time of graduation from the university has been working as a lecturer and has been living good for over 30yrs.

Do not ever make such statement. Slavery statement should be recalled, and apologized for.

I have read all you have said. I repeat again, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a slave to poverty, he will never be satisfied if he steals $100 billion. He has recked this country by his incompetence and Myles Munroe must have thought about Goodluck Jonathan when he made that statement. As my friend and brother FFK put it "We must not allow an Ijaw to continue ruling us." The poverty of the president's mind has led to the new Nigeria we have today.

I am forcing myself to agree with the assertion above, but history is replete with many great leaders who started from humble beginnings. Think of David, Lenin, Stalin, Napoleon, Genghis Khan etc. So Munroe's assertion is patently false

what abt buhari who had to borrow to pay the presidential form?

U see, this is why I hate some preachers!

Making that statement doesn't make him a man of God at all because he clearly forgot David...

He forgot Abraham lincoln too because he never a rich man..

The statement will haunt the man in hell, because as a leader, many of his followers will follow that statement like a religion..

And I hope he rots in hell..

I dnt even knw him, and wen I saw his pics, I never liked him..

because he was good at inciting people never said he was a good pastor. His messages might be strong, it's wot any gifted person can do...but on this one, he was wrong!

Nonsense!
