Hi. Thanks for posting this. Does the preference for male candidates automatically disqualify female candidates? Secondly, are these positions based in Lagos, Abuja or Accra?

The positions are based in Lagos. Meanwhile, female candidates are not disqualified, just that your chances are higher as a male candidate. I will still encourage the ladies to apply. Who knows, the no of female applicants may be so low that you will be the only one available.

Bros cut the lady some slack na. At least she has posted an opportunity so that people can have gainful employment. Besides, I believe she is just posting the info about sex preference as a sort of insider info which I won't take as official. BTW I checked the company's blog and there was nothing about male preference on the vacancy posted there.

But when secretarial and other similar vacancies are posted alluding preference to female candidates nobody cries WOLF!!

Thanks for the response. Like the other poster states somewhat vehemently , it is rather strange that the company should state overtly that they are looking for male candidates. Perhaps it has to do with the nature of the role. Anyways, thanks for sharing. I would have loved to apply but for location.
