Babyosisi, passport is not an issue.

I'm in one of the teams but cos I'm not in lagos, I haven't done much nor joined in any private discussion so I don't know much of the plans.

He can't go straight from Eruwa to passport office now. He needs rest after the long trip. I read somewhere that Jarus has links too.

I do too and re-confirmed from my guy that if we send DJ personal information to him by morning, he will fill out all the forms etc, DJ and Bro goes there around 1pm for biometrics by 3pm, passport is ready.

We need to fill visa forms, get appointment etc and those two are the big deal, IMO not passport.

Well done everybody.

Thanks but you still have not answered the question
Do they have passports ?
Is there plan to do the biometrics before admission?

I am in in team B who are the other members of team b,I have no clue,do you?
Moreover the team taking him to the hospital should make sure this passport thing is taken care of
This is very crucial

This is the last time I will mention passport here since it looks like you folks have a game plan that I'm not aware of

Babyosisi, please stop sounding like we are quarreling. There is no game plan that is hidden. Nobody is doing anything asides helping DJ. People with connection already said getting a passport won't take more than a day, someone even said 5-6hrs. If that be the case, getting his biometrics isn't a life and death issue. Stabilising him, getting him to the hospital is of higher priority so please, take it easy. Every one of us on this thread is already under pressure no matter how insignificant.

Good Morning everyone. well done everyone for all your hard work; your time, emotion, presense, financial., prayers, organisation etc
God bless us all and meet us all at our points of need

Babyosisi, the 3 teams were set up to divide tasks so that there is no confusion, overlap and to speed things up.

Team A was to get DJ to a specialist hospital in Nigeria.
Team B's task is to get DJ to india
Team C to raise funds.

I nominated the first few people on the teams based on their experience/posts/knowledge of the issue at hand.

What I had in mind when I nominated you is that you recruit/nominate people for your team and you work on obtaining the passports, obtaining the Visa and liasing with hospitals in India, booking flights and gettting him out there.

What I am hoping for is a handover from Team A to your team as soon as DJ arrives in hospital in Lagos as their task is complete.
You may want to "nick" some of the Team A members to add to your team as they are already on ground in Nigeria and have contacts.

Team C is already actively campaigning for funds, but they dont know how much is needed. We need that information from your team.

As regards results, There doesnt seem to be many test results available from both hospitals and he therefore needs a proper work up in the specialist hospital he is going to be moved to this morning.

Luth was still running tests when he discharged himself due to financial reasons and the eruwa hospital as far as I know only did an ultrasound and chest x-ray. In my little medical knowledge this is not enough to diagnose anything.

I agree, things may have not been very clear to everyone and i have been in the dark too for some things, and there are so many people working on different things/ideas however I dont think that its deliberate but just the sheer number of people who all want to do something to help in one way or the other. Setting up the teams has helped with this. There is also now a TEHN member on site since Wesnesday so we now have more information. If in doubt about anything please ask.

People are also being careful not to disclose anything that DJ doesnt already know. Please bear with everyone. There is no hidden agenda.
Thanks for all your support, phone calls, Emails etc God bless you. We appreciate you.

olu4life I am calling on you to please join osisi on Team B as you have experience in india travel. Thank you very much

Thank you sir
I personally think that Team B should take over the care, but I stand to be corrected.
I also think that its may be good idea for Team B to "steal" some Team A members so there is continuity.

Project coordinators what do you think?

I warned this guy against this Eruwa trip right from day one. I knew it, I said instead of Eruwa, go straight to specialist hospital. I remember telling him that he might end up being referred back to specialist hospital. I told him to capitalise on that period when people are emotional and ready to donate as much as they can but all my plea.........I am sorry if my post sounds insentitive
sorry sir, he can't read your post now and it's not necessary.the former thread was to play the blame and confusion card, but this NEW THREAD IS THE WAY FORWARD. Thanks.

The documents that I have are only photocopies of test requests & prescriptions from LUTH. 5 documents in total. DJ has the original documents. These documents were only obtained from him for verification purposes to prove that he had been in LUTH and were not looking at the content

1. Abdominal CT scan request - 31/10
2. Abdominal CT scan request - 01/11
3. Patient clearance cetificate - This is just a document detailing how much he paid
4. 1 page of his treatment notes detailing drugs prescribed.
5. Test request for CEA/AFP and some other tests. I cant read the writing

I dont have any lab results.

I dont know if there are any other results anywhere apart from the chest Xray and the ultrasound done at eruwa.
