Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (Unizik) has shown Nigerians again the reason why they are nicknamed "THE GIANT, by winning the just concluded BASIN EVALUATION COMPETITION held on the 32nd NAPE conference at the Eko hotel. It should be recalled that Unizik previously represented Africa in the Imperial Barel Award (IBA) USA, after beating all the prominent universities they competed with in Nigeria and Africa at large. The NAPE BEC result is as follows. 1st Position = UNIZIK. 2nd Position = Unilorin. 3rd Position = Unilag. This Univerisity may be young (1991), but definitely it is growing so fastly. Long live Unizik the giant. |

 Unizik department of geological sciences is the best in nigeria,if you doubt me,ask NAPE(Nigerian association of petroleum engineers). The truth is,unizik is a giant among others.,and giants do big things.Below is some of the images of the concluded Basin evaluation competition organised by NAPE at her 32nd international conference held in Eko hotel and suites,Lagos State Nigeria. NB: Never mind the useless bias rating on nigerian universities.if you want qualitative education,you know where to find it.Just drive down to Awka,Anambra state to behold the great citadel of learning.
