I got married in march this year, and since then, it was one issue after the other. Seeing this forum helped comfort me during this time. From pelvic infection from ecoli, to ceasing periods etc.

I imagined that I would get pregnant immediately I get married. But it was not so.

I prayed and asked God to help me because last month I was told I had a retroverted uterus which will mean changing my sexual position to assist conception. I was unhappy when the doc told me after a routine examination.

But I went back to pray using the doctors report, asking God to erase every handwriting of ordinance written concerning me contrary to His Will.

I actually got pregnant on the same cycle cos I discovered a few days ago that I'm pregnant.

I wanted to give hope to others, so you know that God still answers prayers. Seek medical help if necessary, and pray, you will hold your own bundle of joy too.

Av bin married since 4yrs and av bin ttc since then,i just put trust in God and believe he is able to do all things.
i did scan following some pains in my abdomen and was diagnosed of the following.=

{1} P.I.D
[2} Endometrial plate bin noted

[3] 2 large fibriods.

i was just worried and dnt know wat to do but when i came across this thread and the thread on Alternative method to ttc,i started following and reading post frm ppl and acted on some of the home remedies to cure ailments with dis i was able to cure the fibroid and the endometrial plate is no more noted and the PID also cured. . But still ttc i believe my baby dust is very near.
All thanks to God making u all a source of comfort and happiness cos its not easy ttc but with this online family ttc as bin a fun to me
very soon we shall all be joyful wth the pride of the womb.

I was advised to sleep with hubby every other day after my period. If your uterus is retroverted, sleeping on your back after sex may be harder for the sperm, so sleeping on your stomach was my docs recommendation, although I didn't get to try that before the news, I read online that some women have to lie on their belly after sex if uterus is retroverted. He explained with diagrams why this is so.

I did every other day throughout. I did get pregnant.

Doing a routine examination will help confirm position of the uterus, it doesn't reduce your chances of conceiving, it justs means you get to try other styles, eg rear entry after which you lie on your stomach.

@Didiva thank God u're ok. @twintower he may need to see a urologist to confirm certain things. meanwhile, let his doc work on the hormone, it might be the problem. @matgeezy heard they're good. Though you know its private. Last I asked someone told me IVF costs about 650k there. That was earlier in the year. I didn't ask much questions as I'm not ready to go that route yet. About success rate, was also told good and that they usually update it on their board in the hospital. Only 3 people I know that went thru IVF and all were successful but one later lost hers due to fibroid which she was initially told its insignificant. But at about 10wks she lost hers as cramp continued, the rest is story. But they'll have to run prelim. tests which will be roughly 15k or more depending on ur case. But fertility registration is 5k flat.

I would say lie on your back with a pillow under your hip.

I was told to lie on my stomach with a pillow under my hip.

Our uterus are in opposite directions. Apparently rear entry offers the deepest penetration. But lie down after for about 30 minutes.

Praise the Lord! After 11 years of marriage, 4 miscarriages, 1 failed I U I, 1 failed IVF, blocked tubes, hysteroscopy, laparascopy, fibroid, I gave birth to my beautiful daughter today. I want to say to all my sisters and brothers in waiting here: never give up hope and faith. The same baba GOD that did my miracle and wiped away my tears will do yours also.

I rejoice with you today! In the 11th month of the year after 11 years of waiting God came through. The pregnancy came when you least expected, going by your testimony, and this one stayed just showing you that when God decides to do His own thing it comes with rejoicing, peace and overflowing joy.
