I had the same issue with my dog. Was actually worried that I had been sold an animal with some form of genetic defect when it became so huge and was still so friendly- rarely ever barked. But with time, it started getting fierce. It took a bit of training, though. Simple stuff to make it more aware of who was a friend and who should be considered an enemy. Also, releasing it within the compound at night seemed to have an effect.

Based on my experience anyway, a 5-month old dog is not yet very old. Just give it some time.

Just as we human aren't the same , so also are dogs . And u must understand that dogs are very intelligent. This ur dog looks very nice and cute . The german shepherd dog is not a ferocious dog like some other species and they are used for intelligent tasks ,that is why shepherds like to use them to drive their sheep and they are also used by blind people as guide,they can take a blind person on a walk even to the extent of crossing roads . If you want a killer dog ,get another specie maybe a dobberman or rotweller but please don't just punish the poor dog all because you want it to be what it isn't .

Well its quite normal for foreign dogs,our rott did not start barking untill like wen it was 6 month bt wot really gingered it was dat we had two dogs den,so d oda one usually ginger it to bark, bt jst b patient it will start barking

Feed the dog with raw meat,cook his food with animal blood,lock him up all the time release him at nite only.ur dog will become wild dog nt just a dog,with all,make sure u give the dog gud training so that it won't become atreat to u and ur family..I work as vet asist.

Isolate the dog, lock it in a cage and limit all human contact to just yourself for a period of one month. That should do the trick. Your dog is over-socialized. You have probably let it come in contact with every human possible; possibly dog even lives in your house. Feed it once a day.

Dogs become aggressive when they are deprived. That is the key.

Keep it away from people. Familiarity and carry carry people no dey let dog bad. Anyway, some dogs are born aggressive. From being a puppy them don begin try to put teeth for your shoe or leg.

the best u can do is to isolate it.get a cage and put it there.release only at night.dnt give it too much food as this will make it sleep more and grow lazy.u will notice a visible difference with time

find a aggressive dog to teach it, been opress can make u an oppressors.

Cage her 24-7...it will work wonders.

My guy, after your experience with her parents, would you like people to have that experience, maybe your loved ones. Guy I will say u r lucky to have a dog like that. Note that naturally, dogs are defensive when the time comes, she will come up n besides its a female. I wish to have a pet like that.

You want your dog to bark and be aggressive, Just do this.....(1)isolate the dog by putting it in a cage..dont allow it to be too familiar with people.(2) use a stick to poke the dog through the cage hole..make sure the cage door is locked when doing this..(3) Change the time you feed it..make it 1hr or 2hrs late (4) bring it out sometime and use a clothe to play with it (5) put a plastic ball in its cage...den try to move the ball with the stick..if it loves ball..it wont allow his/her prize possession"ball" to be moved. Thank me later after all this....

Don't listen to any silly person who says you should abuse your dog; it doesn't work and it's not right. Just be patient and take care of the dog.

Sometimes, keep her in isolation for a while, maybe Dark places.. Lock her away from people, so when she see's people she grows weary.

Then again, her meal. Maybe u mix her meal with some stimulants.. (Don't ask me what or which)

Just let her be, she's probably a true reflection of the owner..

The owner must be gentle and easy going, so! Why should the dog be aggressive?

Take her to the nearest police college and make her undergo some police-dog training.

With time, when she grows older, she'l be more aggressive.
