we shouldnt be hasty to blame the military for "annoucing" the news, they didnt really annouce anything, infact the article said that "no military official was willing to comment",you must realise that a deployment of such capacity{to cause a stand-still traffick for hours} cannot go unnoticed both by the media, and by the terrorists{terrorists also have their own intelligence network}.even if the military were to annouce this move, its still of tactical advantage of the NA,as fear and anxiety would grip the terrorist.caught unawares by the possibility of such a daring assault, they would begin to rush a last minute defence plan, they would need quick morale boost, especially when they hear the battle readiness and sophistication that is approaching them.these things can affect there performance.all in all,i pray the nigerian military conquers. |

Wrong approach. You don't need $1b to fight BH. All you need is good intelligent gathering. All the arrested ones none has given useful statement? Just an ANALOGY here: You got big tree in front of your house, every morning it sheds it leaves in your compound to sweep. You got tired, went up bring down all the leaves. The next day it grows back the stress continues. Until you realise it is to uproot the tree from the ROOT. NOW our case. Until the sponsor is remove like the tree. Nigeria is wasting its time. Who pays for their upkeep, do u think it is easy to feed 10 people yet the took over 200 girls and many others feeding the for free. #getterrorismsponsors |

Dottune:The Military DID NOT tell us they're attacking sambisa forest. Someone made that assumption. I can tell you: the military is probably NOT attacking that forest but blocking access to/from there. BH have this "migratory/nomadic" taking over of towns: in effect they just go in and loot heavily and SaharaReporters will tell the world how the town fell then they move on out to another town!!! This is my view oh!!! |

gratieao:They can't use juju to jst appear in d forest na. People will see dem goin dr so someone wil definitely talk. Our journalists are also not helping matters. Must they report everything they see? That's one setback we also have. I bet u, some journalists are enjoying dis insurgency cos it's bringing dem more cash 4 d stories they sell. |

Once An ISIS member stopped a christian couple, and asked them if they were Muslim or not? The Christian man: I'm Muslim ISIS member: If you are a Muslim then recite a verse of Quran Christian man recited a verse from Bible ISIS member: Yeah! that was right, you are allowed to go. "What a risk u took! Why did u tell him that we are Muslims? If he found out you were telling a lie he would have killed both of us"...said the wife as they drove away. "Do not worry, if they knew Quran they would not kill the innocents".... Answered the Husband. Terrorism has no religion. |

BEN1986:You ve a good point dr but do u wonder why they may not ve gotten info frm dos people? These are people who sacrifice dr own lives to claim others' they are ready to die cos they've probly taken some deminic oaths in d name of religion/religious benefits. It's like a dead-end. But even if they've gotten any lead in dat direction, I'm sure they won't make it public until they've nailed d sponsors @ d right spot. Our responsibility is to all cooperate wit d govt in any way we can. God Bless Nigeria. |

The advantage dos hunters ve over d insurgents is dat they ve juju. Shey na only bow nd arrow with dane guns go chase BH diehards away? People shud not c d hunters as being more patrotic dan d soldiers. And dis are d same people dat will be saying Nigerian Army is violating rights of citizens. Using hunters in dis case, violates d hunters' rights. Shikena. |

fitzmayowa:From the comment made by the military source, he didn't give any military strategy to BH. Its just like guardiola saying "we will attack madrid", but how he will attack madrid is what they don't know. No military strategy has been leaked. |

adunjong:It may not empty forest as today. The army should go in and clean them out. If they are out, am sure they will fine no comfortable place like that forest. They will be scarterred around the vilages and may not gather together so easily as the forest. I thing it is a good idea. |
