kettykin:Well i have never met anyone as stupid as you........ I am happy for Akwa Ibomites they can put food on their tables with the stadium while they go to the cinema subsidized by Akabio. Yeah let me add akpbio is the next best.thing after garri..... while we are at it, dont ever in your miserable lonely life say anything about Ibadan. do a little research and educate yourself. |

Thankfully it seems there is still hope for Nigeria. So far 83% recognize this as a waste of resources 17% See it as a reasonable investment. I wish voters would use this much sense next year P.S if anyone wants to argue in favor of the project i'd like to hear your views. |

Apart from Enyimba Stadium no other Stadia in Nigeria has been profitable and I do not expect this one to be any different. I am also tired of both pro and anti Akpabio with regards to this Stadium. It is part of what completes a city and is good he made it this beautiful thats all. |

Abagworo:I'm not anti Akpabio actually. The thread isn't a pro or anti Akpabio thread, and you're right; a good city needs a good stadium. |

Buyer beware in this season where everybody's grandma is rolling their drums to criticize Gov. Akpabio and his uncommon transformation. Gov. Akpabio and his uncommon transformation is indeeed a mango tree that bears the sweetest fruits hence the stick throwing by the opposition. Kudos to the uncommon transformer. Abagworo:As an hungry and uneducated man with kids to feed, what do you do with the little money in your pocket? Do you by make up to look or fancy cloths just to look good or spend the money to buy food and educate yourself and your kids? Looking good without laying strong foundation by empowering the people for the future means your good looks today is bad and ugly look tomorrow and we don't even have to wait till tomorrow to see the sad effects because today, Akpwa Ibom is BROKE according to the government simply because Akwa Ibom depends solely on oil revenue with almost zero IGR and the price of oil is down down down.. Is the N33 billion cinema he's still subsidizing with billions going to empower his people and generate revenue? Is the football field he wasted billions on that can not generate anything going to empower his people economically to sustain and guarantee the state's future economically? So, where is the money and economically empowered society and workforce to maintain your good looks and generate economic tidings? In Nigeria today, good looks is the least of our worries... |

If I was Apkabio I would have tackle unemployment in my state. For God sake akwa ibom dnt need this for now. Yes it is beautifull but nt nw. Gov.Apkabio you would have don thise: 1. Investing massively on the country's economic. which include construction of varieties of factory that will lead to the production of different kind of goods in country which exportation might be witnessed construction of not just health centers but world class health center which will not only create jobs but reduce the rate of nigerians travelling abroad for medical treatment, contruction of more schools, skill acquisition centers across the country e.t.c 2. Bringing back to life dead/abandoned investment. Which includes (a) Rail way transport, b) boat transport c) airports d) sea ports, road transportation, Power stations, oil refinaries, agriculture e.t.c 3. Privatizing all of the above. |

OkijaAmaka:You pulled this fro where, Your assss ![]() Awo even build TV station in Ibadan when nobody even the president of Nigeria had none.Unlike your useless Akpabio, Awo built industrial estates and economic base from Ikeja industrial states to apapa, matori, ilupeju, mushin and oluyole industrial estates to support his policies and the same industrial estates are not only responsible for millions of jobs today, but also responsible for Nigeria's industrial output, goods and services... There's a clear difference between shrimp and lobster... Get educated please... |
