RECAP:Farhan Qureshi ( R. Madhavan) narrates the story of himself and his friends, Raju Rastogi ( Sharman Joshi), and Ranchoddas "Rancho" Shamaldas Chanchad ( Aamir Khan), students at the Imperial College of Engineering, one of the best colleges in India. Farhan wants to become a wildlife photographer, but is pursuing an engineering degree to fulfill his father's wish, whereas Raju needs to improve his family's financial situation, and Rancho studies for the pleasure of building machines. Rancho incurs the wrath of college's dean, Professor Viru Sahastrabuddhe a.k.a. 'Virus' ( Boman Irani), by giving creative and unorthodox answers in class and living by the philosophy that one should pursue excellence not success as success will happen if excellence is achieved, and later blames the rote-learning mentality of the institution for the suicide of fellow student Joy Lobo. Virus's model student is Chatur Ramalingam, called "Silencer" for his silent but malodorous farts, ( Omi Vaidya) lol, whom Rancho humiliates by replacing praise with an obscenity in the speech memorized by Chatur for delivery before the college faculty and donors. Meanwhile, Rancho falls in love with Pia, in reply, tells Rancho of the exam virus set to fail raju, and he and Farhan steal the examination's questions for Raju who refuses to cheat as he has fully embraced Rancho view on life. Virus sentences them to expulsion; but then Pia angrily tells him he was possible for the death of their brother who had wanted to pursue literature and become a writer however under Virus is insistence, he failed the ICE exam three times and committed suicide due to the pressure placed on him by his father who had considered his death an accident. The three then earn a reprieve when Viru's pregnant elder daughter Mona ( Mona Singh) goes into labour at the same time. A heavy storm cuts electricity, and Pia who had left the house instructs Rancho to deliver the baby in the college common room via Voice over IP, after Rancho restores power using car batteries and a power inverter invented by Rancho. After the baby is apparently stillborn, Rancho resuscitates it by using his signature quote All is Well to which the baby responds and survives; therefore Virus allows them to take and pass their final exams. Rancho comes first and is awarded Virus's is prize pen, retained hitherto for an especially-capable student.
Raju and Farhan then take Pia who was on the verge of marrying Suhas to Ladakh, where they see inventions resembling those of their friend. They reunite with him and when they ask him his real name, he identifies himself as Phunsukh Wangdu, Chatur's prospective business partner. Upon learning this, Chatur is horrified and begs Phunsukh to establish the business relationship as he had forced him to sign a declaration of defeat and attempted to humiliate him, apparently to no effect.

RECAP;Rahul Khanna ( Shah Rukh Khan) and tomboyAnjali Sharma ( Kajol) are best friends in St. Xavier's College. The college principal Mr. Malhotra ( Anupam Kher) has a beautiful daughter Tina ( Rani Mukerji), who comes to St. Xavier's from London to finish her degree. She becomes friends with both Rahul and Anjali. When Anjali realizes that she is in love with Rahul, she is encouraged by her motherly guardian Rifat Bi ( Himani Shivpuri) to tell him so. Instead, Anjali is left heartbroken when Rahul tells her that he loves Tina. Anjali decides to leave college and shares a tearful goodbye with Rahul, going away from Rahul and Tina's lives forever. Tina then realizes that she came between two best friends who actually loved each other. After college, Rahul marries Tina and, in a year of marriage, Tina gives birth to a baby girl. Tina has complications in her pregnancy and has little time left, so she writes eight letters to her daughter (one for each of her first eight birthdays), so that she will know her mother. Before dying, Tina asks Rahul to promise her to name their daughter Anjali.
Eight years pass, and Rahul is a single parent living with his daughter and loving mother ( Farida Jalal). On her eighth birthday, little Anjali Khanna ( Sana Saeed) reads the last and most important letter that her mother left her; it tells the story of Anjali Sharma and how she was always Rahul's true love. Tina explains in her letter that Rahul always said that love is friendship, and without friendship there can be no love. Rahul is a single parent and lacks a friend in his life, so Tina gives her daughter the mission of reuniting Rahul with Anjali Sharma and bringing back Rahul's lost love. Anjali Sharma is no longer the tomboy she was in college; she is now more feminine, and is engaged to Aman Mehra ( Salman Khan). However, she explains to her mother ( Reema Lagoo) that she does not really love him and is marrying him as a compromise as she feels she can never love again after losing Rahul. Aman also suspects that she does not really love him. Anjali Khanna and her grandmother search for Anjali Sharma and soon learn that she is going to be working at a summer camp. They travel there, with a plan to later lure Rahul to come as well, and the two Anjalis meet each other. One night while watching television, Anjali Sharma realizes she has met her best friend's daughter, and that Tina is dead. Rahul soon arrives at Camp Sunshine, where he and Anjali Sharma are surprised and delighted to see each other again, sharing a sweet reunion. Throughout the days spent at the camp, Rahul and Anjali feel themselves falling in love. However, Anjali remembers that she is engaged and feels guilty. Aman arrives and tells Rahul that he is Anjali's fiancee. Rahul is heartbroken but congratulates Anjali. She takes this as him rejecting her again, so she leaves summer camp and decides to get married to Aman as soon as possible.
After seeing Tina in a dream, Rahul and his family go to Anjali's wedding, where Rahul silently confesses to Anjali that he loves her, and watches in tears as she is brought forth for the wedding. Realizing this, Anjali is hesitant to go on with the marriage, and stands weeping. Aman notices the tears in her eyes and realizes that she has always been in love with Rahul. He releases Anjali from the engagement and tells her to marry Rahul. Rahul and Anjali have an emotional hug and as the two marry, little Anjali has a vision of Tina smiling and giving her the thumbs up.

Happy new year(2014 film): is a 2014 Indian action heist comedy filmdirected by Farah Khanand produced by Gauri Khan.The film has an ensemble cast, which includes Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shahand Jackie Shroff.

PLOT:
Chandramohan Manohar Sharma, better known as Charlie ( Shah Rukh Khan), is a street fighter whose has been yearning for revenge from Charan Grover ( Jackie Shroff) for 8 years. Because of him, his father, Manohar Sharma ( Anupam Kher) was labeled as a thief because Charan had conned him into stealing the Shalimar Diamonds. Charlie finds out in the media that the diamonds will reach the AtlantisPalm hotel on Christmas Eve. He wants to steal the same diamonds and frame Grover. To accomplish this, he must assemble a dynamic team.
First in his team is Jagmohun Prakash, or Jag ( Sonu Sood) who has a hearing deficiency and gets furious when anyone abuses his mother. Second on his team is Tehntroman Irani, or Tammy, ( Boman Irani) who is an overweight jogger and suffers from epileptic fits. It is also revealed that Tammy and Manohar (Dad) were best friends. Third on the team is Rohan Singh ( Vivaan Shah), a young hacker who will be able to hack through Shalimar's computerized system. He is also Jag's nephew. After thoroughly researching about the vault, the team finds the main vault comprises a biometric lock (fingerprint lock). The problem is that only one person can access the vault at any time: Vicky Grover, Charan's son. So they enlist the aid of a lookalike, Nandu Bhide ( Abhishek Bachchan).
The team heads to a warehouse which was originally their workshop for a rehearsal. It is revealed that Tammy was immensely in love with the Shalimar vault and he only knew the sole combination to the vault. The real Shalimar vault has a laser shield in front of the vault whose code combination is changed everyday. The team finds out a weakness that the Shalimar safe is in the Altantis hotel underground which is connected through a sewer system which is further connected to room 9C. But the room is only open the winners of the World Dance Championship (WDC), a dancing competition. Unfortunately, none of them can dance.
The real story is eventually revealed: Manohar was an engineer in vaults. He met Charan Grover, who was a dealer in African diamonds who gave him a contract to build an impenetrable vault. After the vault was completed. Charan drugged Manohar and conned him into stealing the diamonds by using his fingerprint. Desperate to win the competition, they employ the help of Mohini Joshi ( Deepika Padukone), who is a Maharati bar dancer who trains them to dance. They manage to qualify in the first round and eventually win the competition to represent Team India in the WDC. However, at the WDC party, everyone despises them, especially Grover as he considers India as a team of losers. During the first round, they are pitted against Team Korea, however their performance is halted when Charlie saves a falling child of the rival team. The team eventually find out that the diamonds will arrive on New Year's Eve instead of Christmas which impedes the heist. Though Team Korea secure the last position in the semifinals, the judges however decide that Team Diamonds as part of the semi-finals as well. During this time, Charlie and Mohini fall in love.
Mohini ends up hearing the whole story as to why they wanted revenge. Charlie reveals a shocking secret that Manohar is not in jail but is actually dead, as he committed suicide. This shatters the entire team but manages to motivate them even more get revenge. Mohini reluctantly joins the team and helps them for the heist. The heist eventually takes center stage. Nandu and Jag sedates Vickie temporarily and Nandu takes his place. For the thumb print, Jag paints his thumb, removes it and places on Vickie's thumb matching the print. While Tammy cracks the vault combination, he suffers an epileptic fit, however they open in time. Everything seems to go very well until Charlie and Tammy find another safe inside made of glass which houses the diamonds. Tammy realizes that Manohar built this safe but Charlie manages to crack the password (which is "Charlie". After stealing the diamonds, the team boards a nearby boat, but Mohini doesn't want to come as she feels her country is in disdain. One by one everyone heads back, besides Charlie.
During their performance, Charlie makes his unannounced appearance and eventually win the competition. Grover immediately pinpoints Team India as the thieves, but much to his disdain he sees them performing. As part of the plan he and Vickie gets arrested. Team India reach the airport and manages to bypass security (Charlie camouflaged the diamonds as ice cubes in his cool drink), but the security guard disposes it. The team eventually find out that the actual real diamonds are engraved on the trophy itself.
The film ends with Mohini opening a dance school. Charlie propses to her by giving a ring made of one of the diamonds. Charlie quotes that there are "winners" and "losers" in this world and from losers they won the hearts of millions and became winners.

Rahul Mithaiwala ( Shahrukh Khan) is a forty-year-old bachelor living in Mumbai. His parents died in a car accident when he was eight years old, so his grandparents raised him. His grandfather ( Lekh Tandon) owns a chain of confectionery shops. Before his grandfather's 100th birthday celebrations, two of Rahul's friends invite him to accompany them on a vacation in Goa, which he accepts. Rahul's grandfather dies on the eve of the celebrations. His grandmother tells Rahul that his grandfather wanted his ashes to be divided into two parts—one of each to be immersed in the Ganges Riverand Rameswaram. She asks Rahul to go to Rameswaram and immerse them. He reluctantly accepts her request but is also eager to attend the Goa trip. Rahul and his friends plan to dump the ashes at Goa but his grandmother wants to see him off, forcing Rahul to travel by train. He books a single ticket on theChennai Expressand plans to meet his friends along the way. Rahul forgets to take the ashes; he returns to collect them but almost misses the train. While trying to leave the train, he notices a young woman running to board it. He helps her and four other people to board the moving train but the train leaves the station before he can get off.
Rahul tries to flirt with the woman, who starts communicating by singing parodies of Hindi film songs, and explains that the four men are trying to kidnap her. Rahul lends her his mobile phone so that she can contact her friends, but the men with her throw it from the train. Rahul is annoyed but says nothing because the men are carrying weapons. Rahul tells the ticket inspector about them, but they push the inspector into a river below the bridge. Panicked, Rahul learns that the men,who are her cousins are kidnapping her and that her name is Meenalochni "Meena" Azhagusundaram ( Deepika Padukone). She is trying to flee from a forced marriageto Tangaballi ( Nikitin Dheer). Her father Durgeshwara Azhagusundaram ( Sathyaraj) is a powerful headman of the local mafia in Tamil Nadu.
Rahul ( Shahrukh Khan) helps Meenamma ( Deepika Padukone) board the train, a spoof of the famous train scene in Khan's 1995 film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge [ 20 ]
Meena takes Rahul to her father and introduces him as her lover. Tangaballi challenges Rahul to a duelto which Rahul accepts without knowing partly aided by his lack of knowledge in Tamil. On the night of the duel, Rahul escapes with the help of a local policeman Shamsher ( Mukesh Tiwari) but he ends up on a ship with Sri Lankan terrorists and smugglers. A gunfire battle ensues between police force and terrorists. When police officers investigate an arrested Rahul, he tells his story and ends up in Komban Kaum again. Surrounded by Azhagusundaram's sickle-wielding henchmen, Rahul pretends to take Meena hostage and escapes with her in her father's car, battling Azhagasundaram's men. When the car breaks down, Rahul and Meena quarrel and part ways. Rahul, not knowing which way to go, returns to Meena who takes him to the Vidhamba village where a wedding is taking place. Meena tells the villagers that they are a married couple who have eloped and need protection and rest.
The villagers grow fond of the couple and take care of them. Meena realises that she has fallen in love with Rahul. When Rahul plans to sneak away, she argues, not wanting to earn the villagers' distrust. Tangaballi catches Rahul trying to leave, but the villagers help them escape again. Meena persuades Rahul to immerse his grandfather's ashes and travels with him to Rameswaram, where they complete the rites. On their way back, Rahul realises that he has fallen in love with Meena, and does not tell her where they are going. He takes Meena back to her father and tries to make him understand and honour his daughter's wish. He also tells Meena that he loves her. Rahul tells Tangaballi and his goons that he is ready for the fight this time. A strong battle ensues, where Rahul is severely injured but emerges victorious. Meena's father and Tangaballi reform and accept that the heart of a common man like Rahul is bigger than their physical ability and political influence. Azhagusundaram allows Rahul to marry Meena. When all ends well, Rahul leaves a message that love knows no regional or language barriers and that with a strong heart, there is no limit to what a common man can achieve.

Samar Anand ( Shahrukh Khan), a major in the Indian Army, defuses a bomb without fear or regard for his safety. Akira Rai ( Anushka Sharma), a Discovery Channelfilmmaker, dives into a river in Ladakhon a dare and gets into trouble due to the freezing water. Samar who happens to be on the shore rescues her. Samar gives her his jacket and leaves without retrieving it. Later, Akira finds his diary in the jacket pocket and begins reading.
The diary recounts Samar's earlier years as a struggling immigrant in London, working as a buskerwho also performs other odd jobs to support himself and his roommate Zain (Sharib Hashmi). Samar is working part-time as a waiter when he meets Meera ( Katrina Kaif) at her and her fiance Roger's engagement party. Meera grew up, motherless, in an affluent Indian family; her mother ( Neetu Singh) left for another man ( Rishi Kapoor) when she was twelve. The dominant person in her life is her father ( Anupam Kher), for whose company she works. Samar notices that Meera often prays when he sees her at the church. Samar and Meera begin to fall in love after a night of wild street dancing. To face her past, Samar takes Meera to visit her estranged mother and they reconcile. Some days later Meera decides to confess to her father about her relationship with Samar and break her engagement, Samar has a serious accident on his motorbike. Meera prays to God to save his life, promising never to see him again. Samar recovers, and Meera admits her vow to him. Angry, he leaves her and London. Samar challenges God to keep him alive while he risks his life every day, because he believes his death is the only way to make Meera lose her faith in God. He goes to India and enlists in the army, becoming a bomb-disposalexpert.
When Akira finishes reading the diary, she obtains permission to make a documentary about a bomb-disposal squad. She asks Samar for help to make her film and becomes acquainted with him and his team. Akira develops a crush on Samar; however, he does not reciprocate because of his unresolved love for Meera. Akira makes a successful film and leaves for London. She wants Samar to visit the city to help her publicise the film; after he reluctantly agrees to come to London, he is struck by a car.
Samar is diagnosed with retrograde amnesia, and he remembers only the events before his first accident a decade ago. Concerned, Akira tracks Meera down and persuades her to aid in Samar's recovery. Meera agrees, pretending to be Samar's wife. In the meantime, Akira realises that Major Samar is only a fragment of the young Samar; he used to be happy and sociable, but is now bitter and lonely. One day Samar finds a bomb planted in the London Underground, and helps defuse it. The event jogs his memory, and he realises that Meera was lying to him. Samar confronts Meera with a choice: to be with him, or see him keep risking his life until he is dead. He then leaves for Kashmir, where he continues defusing bombs. During a conversation with Akira, Meera realises that her beliefs and prayers subjected Samar to a fate worse than death; realising her mistake, she goes to Kashmir and they reunite. PLOT
The film opens five years after the ending of the first film, with Don( Shahrukh Khan) narrating the story. The European drug cartel bosses meet in the French Rivierato discuss a new threat emerging from Asia: Don is jeopardising their business by undercutting their prices, and the bosses decree that Don must die. Living in Thailand for the last five years, he goes to a remote settlement to pick up a shipment of cocaine. Instead of the expected uneventful transaction, Don fights his way out. He returns to Malaysia, surrendering to Roma ( Priyanka Chopra) and Inspector Malik ( Om Puri). Don is sentenced to death and sent to prison, where he meets old rival Vardhaan ( Boman Irani). He offers Vardhan a partnership, and they escape from prison after poisoning the other inmates.
In ZurichDon meets trusted companion Ayesha ( Lara Dutta), and they retrieve the contents of a locker accessible only by Vardhaan. In it is a tape of J.K. Diwan ( Alyy Khan), vice-president of the Euro-printing DZB (Deutsche Zentral Bank), who was sent by Fabian Kohl to bribe Singhania ( Rajesh Khattar) to kill a competitor. Don blackmails Diwan into giving him the bank's blueprints so he can steal the printing plates. Diwan misleads him and hires Jabbar ( Nawab Shah), an assassin. Don escapes, however, and baits Jabbar to working for him. With no other choice, Diwan gives Don the blueprints.
Don and his team plan and execute a bank robbery, taking hostages. After stealing the printing plates he is betrayed by Vardhaan and Jabbar, but escapes. However, Sameer (a team member, played by Kunal Kapoor) calls the police and Don is arrested; he threatens Sameer for informing on him. Unable to enter the bank and free the hostages, the police are forced to work with Don in exchange for giving him German immunity.
Don and Roma reach Vardhaan and Jabbar, but Roma is shot when she refuses to kill him. She still has feelings for Don, although he killed her brother five years earlier. He defeats Vardhaan and his thugs, and Jabbar is killed. Don obtains his immunity papers, surrendering the plates and a disc with information about his team. He brings Roma to a waiting ambulance, and they exchange glances before the doors close. Don later detonates a bomb planted earlier in Diwan's car.
In a final scene Don still has one of the currency plates, which the police think was destroyed by the explosion. Sameer was actually loyal to Don; informing the police was part of the plan. The disc Don gave them actually contains the names of the European drug cartel; when they are arrested, Don becomes king of the European underworld and tells Ayesha and Sameer they have no idea how rich they will become. When Ayesha tells him she was afraid he would be caught, he says:"Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahin, namumkin hai"("It is not just hard to catch Don, it is impossible." and the film ends with the song "Dushman Mera"

A young, struggling British filmmaker Sue McKinley ( Alice Patten) comes across the diary of her grandfather, Mr. McKinley ( Steven Mackintosh), who served as a jailer in the Imperial Policeduring the Indian independence movement. Through the diary, she learns about the story of five freedom fighterswho were active in the movement: Chandrasekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, Ashfaqulla Khan, and Ram Prasad Bismil. McKinley, in his diary, states that he had met two type of people in his life: the first one... who died without uttering a sound and the second kind ... who died with lots of anguish.. crying over their deaths... McKinley reveals that it was then that he met with the third kind....
Having decided to make a self-financed documentary film about these revolutionaries, Sue travels to India, with the help of her friend, Sonia ( Soha Ali Khan), from the Institute for International Studies at the University of Delhi. After a few unsuccessful auditions in search of the actors, Sue finally casts Sonia's friends, four young men – Daljit "DJ" ( Aamir Khan), Karan Singhania ( Siddharth Narayan), Aslam Khan ( Kunal Kapoor) and Sukhi Ram ( Sharman Joshi) — to portray the revolutionaries.
Though they aren't very enthusiastic at the idea of acting in a film about the independence movement, Sue eventually manages to convince them. Laxman Pandey ( Atul Kulkarni), a political party activist, joins the cast later, despite initially being unpopular due to his anti-Muslim beliefs and contempt for Aslam Khan. In the process of filming, the idealism of India's revolutionary heroes seeps into the protagonists. They gradually begin to realize that their own lives are quite similar to the characters they portray in Sue's film and that the state of affairs that once plagued the revolutionaries continues to torment their generation.
Meanwhile, Ajay Singh Rathod ( R. Madhavan), a flight lieutenantin the Indian Air Forcewho is Sonia's fiancé, is killed when his jet, a MiG-21, crashes. The government proclaims that the crash was caused by pilot error and closes the investigation. Knowing that Rathod was an ace pilot, Sonia and her friends do not accept the official explanation. Instead, they claim that he sacrificed his life to save hundreds of other lives that would have been lost had he ejected from the aircraft and left it to crash into a populous city. They investigate and learn that the crash was due to a corrupt defence minister( Mohan Agashe), who had signed a contract exchanging cheap and illegal MiG-21 aircraft spare parts for a personal favour. To their surprise, they learn that the key person who was responsible for organizing the deal was Karan's father, Rajnath Singhania ( Anupam Kher).
Angered by the situation, the group and their supporters decide to protest peacefully at India Gate, a war memorialin New Delhi. Police forcefully break up their protest using batons; in the process, Rathod's mother ( Waheeda Rehman) is severely hurt and she slips into a coma. DJ, Karan, Aslam, Sukhi, and Laxman decide that they must emulate the early freedom fighters and resort to violence to achieve justice. As a result, they kill the defence minister to avenge Rathod's death, while Karan murders his father for his corrupt actions. The minister is reported to have been killed by terrorists and is hailed as a martyr by the media. To bring forth their intentions behind the killings, the five of them attempt to reach the public through a radio station. They forcibly take over the All India Radiostation premises after having evacuated its employees. Karan goes on air and reveals the truth about the defence minister and his wrongdoings. While still on the air, the police proclaim that they are dangerous terrorists who have forcefully taken over the AIR, and therefore they are to be shot on sight. The first to be shot is Daljit, who tries to get out of cover and establish that they are not terrorists, however the shot is not a fatal one. Sukhi, unable to control his anger at this gets out and is instantly shot to death. He dies with the last smile still etched on his face. As they are trying to lock the terrace doors, Aslam and Pandey are then killed due to a grenadeexplosion and the once archenemies die holding hands and smiling, as they have visions of Ram Prasad Bismiland Ashfaqullah.
Daljit manages to crawl to the Recording Room, where Karan is still on air. When Karan understands that he has been shot, they speak amongst themselves for the last time, regarding the others, about Sue and about Daljit's love for her. It is there that they are shot to death, but not without the sound of their hearty laughter still hanging in the air like an echo of long dead music. It is then revealed that McKinley described the third kind of people he came across as being the ones who embraced death as a friend and an equal, with a heartfelt laughter. After their death, the public reacts with outrage and expresses urge to bring Indian Politics to justice, following the motives of all the boys.
The film comes to an end with Sue describing the impact of the boys on her life. As she and Sonia watch from the rooftop that Ajay proposed to her on, they have a vision of the boys running in the fields, singing happily and victoriously throwing their shirts in the air, acting as if they are celebrating life itself, as if the ebb of their once-there vitality still reverberates in the places where they once used to go, and a wave of melancholy comes over the two surviving women.
In an afterlife-like state, the boys watch as a father tells his son (a young Bhagat Singh) about gardening. They watch over him with smiling faces, then depart as friends for eternity.

PLOT
In the small village of Champaner, (now in the State of Haryana, in western India) during the height of the British Empire in Indiain 1893, Captain Andrew Russell ( Paul Blackthorne), the commanding officer of the Champaner cantonment, has imposed high taxes ("lagaan" on people from the local villages which they are unable to pay due to a prolonged drought. Led by Bhuvan ( Aamir Khan), the villagers beg RajaPuran Singh ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda) to help them. He tells them that much to his regret, he is also bound by British law.
It is after their visit to the Raja that the people of the village first witness a cricketmatch. Bhuvan mocks the game and gets into a fight with one of the British officers. Taking an instant dislike to Bhuvan, Russell offers to cancel the taxes of the whole province for three years if the villagers can beat his men in a game of cricket. If the villagers lose, however, they will have to pay three times the amount of their normal taxes. Bhuvan accepts this wager on behalf of all the villages in the province, without their consent. When the other villagers find out about the bet, they are furious with Bhuvan. He argues that it is important for everyone to fight against British rule.
Bhuvan thus begins to prepare the villagers for the match. He initially finds only five people willing to join the team. He is aided in his efforts by Russell's sister Elizabeth ( Rachel Shelley) who feels that her brother has mistreated the people in the villages. As she teaches them the rules of the game, she falls in love with Bhuvan, much to the anguish of Gauri ( Gracy Singh) who is also in love with him. After Bhuvan reassures Gauri of his feelings for her, the woodcutter Lakha (Yashpal Sharma) becomes enraged as he is also in love with Gauri. In an attempt to discredit Bhuvan, Lakha offers himself as a spy for Russell and joins the villagers' team to destroy it. Eventually, as the villagers realise that winning equals freedom, and as a few of them are insulted by the British, they soon join the team. Still short one player, Bhuvan invites an untouchable, Kachra ( Aditya Lakhia), who can bowl spinners. The villagers, conditioned by long term prejudice against untouchables, refuse to play if Kachra joins the team. Bhuvan chastises the villagers, shaming them into accepting Kachra.
The second half of the film focuses on the match itself. On the first day, Russell wins the toss and elects to bat, giving the British officers a strong start. Bhuvan brings Kachra into the match only to find that Kachra has somehow lost his ability to spin the ball, because new cricket balls do not spin as well as worn-down ones (like the team had been practising with). In addition, as part of his agreement with Russell, Lakha deliberately drops many catches. During the evening, however, Elizabeth sees Lakha meeting with her brother. She races to the village and informs Bhuvan of Lakha's deception. Rather than allow the villagers to kill him, Bhuvan offers Lakha the chance to redeem himself.
The next day as part of his promise to Bhuvan, Lakha takes a diving one-handed catch. However the British score almost 300 runs, losing only three wicketsby the lunch break. Kachra is brought back to bowl and, bowling with a now-worn ball, takes a hat-trickwhich sparks the collapse of the British batting side. The villagers soon start their innings. Bhuvan and Deva (a Sikh, who has played cricket earlier when he was a British sepoy) give their team a solid start. Deva misses out on his half-century when a straight-drive from Bhuvan ricochets off the bowler's hand onto the stumps at the non-striker's end, while Deva is backed up too far. When Lakha comes on to bat, he is hit by a bouncer to the head, and he falls on to his stumps. Other batsmen get out trying to score a boundary off each delivery. Ismail (Raj Zutshi), a good batsman, retires hurt as he is hit on his leg. The villagers' team ends the day with four batsmen out of action with barely a third of the required runs on board.
On the third and final day, Bhuvan passes his century, while most of the later wickets fall. Ismail returns to bat with the help of a runner and passes his half-century, reducing the required runs to a gettable total. The game comes down to the last overwith Kachra on strike. With one ball remaining and the team down 5 runs, Kachra knocks the ball a short distance, managing only a single. However, the umpire signals no balland Bhuvan returns to bat, and swings extremely hard at the next ball. Captain Russell backpedals and catches the ball, gleefully believing that the British team has won, until he realises that he had actually caught the ball beyond the boundary which gives 6 runs, and the win, to Bhuvan's team. Even as they celebrate the victory, the drought ends as a rainstorm erupts.
Bhuvan's defeat of the British team leads to the disbanding of the humiliated cantonment. In addition, Russell is forced to pay the taxes for the whole province and is transferred to Central Africa. After realising that Bhuvan loves Gauri, Elizabeth returns to London. Heartbroken, she remains unmarried for the rest of her life. The narrator ( Amitabh Bachchan) says that Bhuvan went on to marry Gauri with great pomp and show, but concludes by saying that despite the historic triumph, Bhuvan's name became lost in the pages of history.

In the year 1990 Iqbal Haroon Khan ( Jackie Shroff) runs the The Great Indian Circus in Chicago, which has fallen on bad times. Anderson's ( Andrew Bicknell) bank – Western Bank of Chicago – which has lent money to Iqbal Khan, decides to close down the circus when Khan is unable to repay the loan. Young Sahir (Siddharth Nigam), the little son of Iqbal Khan, pleads with Anderson not to shut down his father's circus, as he and his father would soon be able to turn the corner. But Iqbal Khan's presentation before the bankers and Sahir's pleas don't help. Iqbal Khan commits suicide in front of the heartless Anderson, leaving Sahir devastated.
Now in 2013, Sahir ( Aamir Khan) has still not forgotten the high-handedness of the bank and swears revenge. He robs various branches of Western Bank of Chicago, leaving behind a message in Hindi and a clown mask. During the chase, he runs from top to the bottom of the Western Bank of Chicago building. As the police comes to the scene, he runs into a van as the they begin to surround the vehicle. Sahir jumps out in a BMW K1300R after a little explosion. On the chase, he slides under a truck and pops out to continue. He further kicks a police officer off his patrol motorcycle causing the officer to lose control and crash into a newspaper stand. While beyond that, Sahir continually tries to escape his pursuers and goes into a public parking garage. Then out of nowhere, he uses a steel cable cord like an attachment and rides his bike on it and is nearly knocked down by a train. despite all efforts of law enforcement, the robbery isn't foiled and he successfully gets away.
As Chicago Police Officer Victoria ( Tabrett Bethell) fails to catch him, she calls ACP Jai Dixit ( Abhishek Bachchan) and his partner, Ali ( Uday Chopra), for help in solving the case. Jai baits Sahir into robbing again by making it known he's on the case and that he believes the thief to be an amateur thereby goading him on. Gathering information from a news channel regarding the plan, Sahir poses as an informant for Jai, and manages to gather information on the bank while giving Jai a lead to follow. Eventually, Sahir robs the bank and escapes, but Jai and Ali follow him. During the pursuit, Sahir nearly knocks Ali and stops on Warbash Avenue as the bridge rises, he drives straight and jumps off. His bike transforms into a jet ski. While on a water pursuit, Jai manages to take a boat and chases Sahir. After almost knocking off Ali, Sahir is almost about to reach the next bridge but the police arrive. Sahir dives underwater, then jumps out from the water ejecting his jet ski. Jai, while hanging on a helicopter ladder, manages to shoot Sahir on the left shoulder before he disappears again.
Sahir has a big premiere of a revamped version of The Great Indian Circus, with his female lead acrobat, Aaliya ( Katrina Kaif), involving a trick with him disappearing in one place and showing up in another. The show is a success, but afterwards, Jai, Ali, and the police surround him, knowing he's the thief. Jai says the proof will be the gunshot wound, but when Sahir is examined, there is no evidence of a gunshot wound anywhere on his body. Jai and Ali leave while Sahir retires to his dressing room. It is then revealed that Sahir has an autistic twin brother, Samar, who helps him pull off his trick and helps him in planning and pulling of the robberies (like the rope string stunt and ejecting the jet-ski bike) and it was Samar who sustained the gun-shot wound.
Jai is fired from the case, but is encouraged by Ali to prove Sahir's guilt by going rogue. Jai eventually finds out about Samar, and sets about finding a way to corner Sahir. Samar, being mentally challenged, is kept in seclusion by Sahir. However, he allows Samar outdoors once a week, and Jai manages to befriend him during this time in order to perform his plan. Samar has fallen in love with Aaliya after performing with her in the circus, but cannot express it. This leads to a rift between the brothers. Jai tries to take advantage of this, but Sahir finds out and thwarts Jai's plan to stop them. He decides the only way to catch the brothers is in the act of robbing. Sahir and Samar pull off their final bank heist, and escape. However, the following day, Jai manages to corner them as they're making their way out of town. They robs on 22nd of May. Samar is hesitant to run when Aaliya shows up, begging him to stop. Sahir surrenders to Jai, asking him to spare Samar. Jai agrees, but right after, Sahir attempts to jump off the bridge. Samar grabs Sahir's hand, refusing to let him go. Sahir begs Samar to let go, saying he can live freely with Aaliya. But Samar says that both of them are born together and should die together. Eventually, the two of them jump off the bridge together and fall to their death. Western Bank of Chicago is seen to shut down as a result of the heists, while Aaliya is shown having taken over The Great Indian Circus and still performing for it.

Sunita ( Jiah Khan) is a medical student, working on a project about the human brain with her class friend . When she is denied access by her professor to the curious case of Sanjay Singhania ( Aamir Khan), a man reported to have anterograde amnesia, because it is under criminal investigation, Sunita decides to investigate the matter herself.
It is revealed that Sanjay loses his memory every 15 minutes. He uses a system of photographs, notes, and tattoos to recover his memory after each cycle to remind himself of his mission: to avenge the death of his beloved Kalpana ( Asin). He systematically kills the people who were tied to the murder. His main target is Ghajini ( Pradeep Rawat), a notable social personality in the city, and the man directly responsible for Kalpana's death and Sanjay's condition.
Police inspector Arjun Yadav ( Riyaz Khan) tracks Sanjay down and hits him unconscious. Yadav finds two diaries in which Sanjay has chronicled the events of 2005 and 2006. The film flashes back to 2005 as Yadav reads the diary. Sanjay Singhania is the chairman of the Air Voice mobile telephone company. In the course of business, he sends his men to meet Kalpana, a struggling model of Mumbai, about putting up a billboard above her apartment. The owner of Kalpana's advertising firm misinterprets this as a romantic advance and, in view of a possible lucrative Air Voice ad campaign, encourages Kalpana to accept the overture. Kalpana thinks of it as an innocent prank that may fetch her better modelling work and decides to charade as Sanjay's girlfriend. Sanjay goes to confront Kalpana about this but falls in love with her at first sight. He hides his identity and introduces himself as Sachin, and the two begin spending time together. The diary ends with Sanjay proposing to Kalpana and promising himself that he will reveal his actual identity if she accepts.
When Yadav is about to read the 2006 diary, Sanjay awakes and attacks him, tying him up. Ghajini realizes that someone is trying to kill him but cannot figure out who. Sunita visits Sanjay's flat and discovers Sanjay's plan to kill Ghajini. She takes both his diaries before finding Yadav, beaten and bound, and freeing him. Just then, Sanjay arrives, but he remembers neither of them and chases them out. Yadav is hit by a bus as he flees in terror, and Sunita, believing Ghajini is the good guy in danger, informs him about Sanjay. Ghajini arrives at Sanjay's flat and destroys all of Sanjay's photographs and notes, as well as the tattoos on Sanjay's body, so that Sanjay is left with nothing to help him recover his memory.
As Sunita reads the diaries, the film flashes back to 2006, where it is revealed that Kalpana had accepted Sanjay's proposal. When this diary ends abruptly, Sunita digs further and discovers that Kalpana was travelling to Goafor a modelling assignment when she came upon 25 innocent young girls being trafficked. She had saved the girls, who named Ghajini as the ringleader of the racket. Outraged, Ghajini broke into Kalpana's apartment with his goons to kill her. When Sanjay arrived, he found Kalpana stabbed. Ghajini then hit Sanjay over the head with an iron rod. Sanjay's last sight was Ghajini brutally murdering Kalpana with the iron rod. Kalpana's last word to Sanjay was "Ghajini."
Sunita, now aware of the shocking truth, finds Sanjay in the hospital and tells him the truth. He flies into a heartbroken rage and tracks down Ghajini with Sunita's help. He fights off all of Ghajini's henchmen with a superior and anger-fueled strength. Ghajini, realizing Sanjay is too strong for him, flees. Sanjay's memory loss strikes again, and he forgets who Ghajini is. Ghajini takes this opportunity to stab Sanjay and taunt him with the grisly tale of how he murdered Kalpana. As he is about to make Sanjay relive the experience by killing Sunita the same exact way, Sanjay recovers the memory of Kalpana's death, and overpowers Ghajini in a flash of strength. He finally kills Ghajini, in the same way Ghajini had killed Kalpana.
The film ends with a still-amnesiac Sanjay volunteering at an orphanage. Sunita gives him a gift that reminds him of his bond with Kalpana, and Sanjay imagines Kalpana by his side, finally at peace with himself.

Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoonis the story of Sanjana ( Kareena Kapoor), a girl of today's generation full of life. She lives life on her own terms and gets very upset when her mother Susheela ( Himani Shivpuri) arranges for her to see a boy leading to a marriage prospect. Roopa, the eldest daughter, shows Sanjana's photos to Prem's mother who instantly approves of her. She eventually meets Prem Kishen ( Hrithik Roshan).
At first she cannot stand over him, but eventually they later fall in love. Her parents are happy that Sanjana likes him, but suddenly Roopa e-mails them to tell that Prem could not make it so they sent someone else who is actually prem kishen.
Sanjana's confused parents find out that the boy who is here is not the rich N.R.I.Prem whom Sanjana was meant to meet. He is Prem Kishen, an employee in Prem Kumar's company. It gets even worse when the real Prem Kumar ( Abhishek Bachchan) arrives to meet Sanjana. The meddling mother ousts Prem Kishen, though the father ( Pankaj Kapoor) has reservations because he sees how much Sanjana and Prem are in love. Prem Kumar likes Sanjana instantly and Sanjana can't believe how much she has in common with him, but Sanjana is now inseparable from Prem Kishen, her true love. He returns to Sundarnagar and reveals during the family photo that his boss is going to get married with his beloved Sanjana.
Trouble ensues; a marriage is decided for Sanjana and Prem Kumar with Prem Kumar's mother's ( Reema Lagoo) blessing. Prem Kishen's loyalty to his boss and his boss' happiness forces him to leave and let the marriage go on. Sanjana finally meets her soulmate when Prem Kumar learns the reality and unites Sanjana with Prem Kishen.

Many adventures then ensue, as Krishna-from-Heaven helps Krishna-from-Earth to discover his family.

PLOT
At the beginning of the film, Kabir ( Abhay Deol) proposes to Natasha ( Kalki Koechlin). Their families meet at the engagement party. At the party, Natasha learns that Kabir is planning a three-week bachelor road trip to Spain with his school friends Imraan ( Farhan Akhtar) and Arjun ( Hrithik Roshan). Kabir explains that the three have a long-standing pact, and that during the road trip, each of them will have to pick an adventure sport, which all three will try together. Initially, Arjun is reluctant to take part in the trip due to his workaholism and obsession with money. It is later revealed that Arjun's ex-girlfriend left him due to this reason. Imraan has an additional personal agenda on the trip—to find his biological father Salman Habib ( Naseeruddin Shah), an artist in Spain.
The trio set off to Spain, where they plan to visit Costa Brava, Seville, and Pamplona. On the way to Costa Brava, Imraan and Kabir find it annoying that Arjun works even during the trip. Imran casually throws Arjun's phone out of their car while in the middle of an important call. This leads to a misunderstanding, which ends up in a violent argument. Arjun, in a fit of rage, accuses Imraan of having an affair, four years back, with Arjun's previous girlfriend (a topic which was very sensitive both to Arjun and Imraan). After being pacified by Kabir and reaching their destination, they meet an Anglo Indiannamed Laila ( Katrina Kaif) on a beach. Imraan flirts with her and makes Arjun jealous. Kabir reveals that he has chosen deep sea divingas their first sport, and they later find that Laila is their diving instructor. Arjun, who cannot swim and is aquaphobic, receives assistance from Laila. She helps him overcome his fears and finish the sport successfully. Upon a request by Laila, they attend the La Tomatinafestival held in Buñolwith her and meet Nuria ( Ariadna Cabrol), who falls in love with Imraan. Meanwhile, Natasha becomes suspicious of Kabir's involvement with Laila and crashes his bachelor party trip, much to Kabir's discomfort in front of his friends. Imraan spends time with Nuria, and Arjun with Laila. After the boys leave, Laila realizes she has fallen in love with Arjun and chases them on a bike, not wanting to regret their partition if they don't meet in future. She and Arjun express their feelings for each other with a passionate kiss.
On the way to Seville, Kabir drops Natasha at the airport, while Arjun and Imraan notice that something is wrong between her and Kabir. The trio visit Seville for sky diving, as per Arjun's choice. During the task, Imraan is forced to confront his acrophobiaand hesitates to take part. However, they complete it without any obstacles. After skydiving, the three men go to a bar and get into a fight with a stranger on whom they had tried to pull a prank. They are jailed after the fight. Salman bails them out and takes them to his home. While speaking to Imraan, Salman reveals that he never wanted the responsibility of a married life with kids, while Imraan's mother did, which is why he never contacted Imraan. Imraan, heartbroken, realises how it would have felt when he had hurt Arjun four years back. He earnestly apologises to Arjun, and he readily forgives Imraan.
The trio leave for the bull runin Pamplona, which was Imraan's choice. When confronted by his friends, Kabir confesses to Arjun and Imraan that he is still not ready for a marriage, and that Natasha had gotten the wrong idea (of him proposing her) on seeing the ring that he had bought for his mother as a birthday present, but he could not tell this to Natasha as he did not want to hurt her. On the morning of the bull run, Imraan suggests they make a pact to make a promise if they survive the event. Imraan vows to publish his poetry (he was secretly a poet), Arjun vows to go to Morocco with Laila, and Kabir promises to tell Natasha that he is not ready to marry her. As they complete the event, the friends gain a renewed sense of their relationships with each other, with others they know, and with themselves.
As the credits roll, Imraan, Kabir, Nuria and Natasha are shown attending the wedding of Arjun and Laila in Morocco. Kabir and Natasha did not marry, but remain friends.Indeed, Natasha is seen with another boy, although it is unclear whether they are married or are unmarried lovers.
