It is very easy to blame Keshi for this game, just as a student can blame his teacher for not teaching him well, but personally I believe Ahmed Musa and Omeruoh lost the plot for us. You don't get 3 clear chances like that and miss them in a must-win game. You will surely get punished. Karma is a b.itch like that. Keshi won't get on the field to tuck those balls away for you. The player has to show up and deliver.

And then Omeruoh turns a situation where he was under no pressure into a calamity simple because he failed to control the ball. He was the same person that caused the Congolese equalizer in Calabar. Just too sloppy.

Keshi, well, he has gone full circle now. We are back where he picked us from. From hero to villain. From failing to qualify for AFCON 2012, to African Champions at AFCON 2013, and back to not qualifying for AFCON 2015. He should have quit after AFCON 2013 when the ovation was loudest.

He has done is bit and I thank him for the good moments. Who is next now?

Emm..... I just understood the whole situation so Let me clarify some points I made ealier on....


Nigeria has no hope qualifying,not at all. Why because??..

1. It is 7 groups, group A to G

2. The top two teams from each groups qualify automatically.


3. I.e 14 will qualify remaining 1.

4. That one will be the best third placed team. Which currently now is between DR Congo and Egypt depending on the number of goals Egypt defeat tunisia.


5. So altogether, we will have 15 qualified teams from the qualifiers plus host Equitorial Guinea making it 16.


So I was very wrong ealier on.


If I raised anybody's hope by my post please pardon me I missed a group that why.

It is the same way we didn't qualify for 2012 edition.

as i always say, musa has a very inconsistent server. i dnt really knw when he wld become a consistent player. 1 good game and 5 bad games. bt he tried hs best in ds qualifying series bt emenike shld have been dropped long ago. u dont play 4 ur national team based on reputation, u play based on current form.

Honestly,Musa's performance pained me very much! He was presented with 2 clear chances that he could have converted atleast one of them,but he looked nervous and clueless infront of goal. Smh!


You all should give it up for Sone Aluko! He was just super-superb! His calm finish to pull a goal back for us was superb. He didn't relent on that,he went in search for an equalizer and he got it. He was a threat to the South African defence. He has the quality that Emenike lacked and I keep wondering why Keshi keep using him as a substitute.

Hope our wifes (nigeria) will support south africa during the Afcon cup
