God has been Faithful to me and my family. Once again His words has been proven true in 2 Corinthians 12:9 "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." . For those who may not understand the importance of this thread, I will do a little introduction. . Abali, is a Warrior, AKA; A man living with the Sickle Cell Gene. A lot of people, have this phobia of entering into a long term committed relationship with a person who has the Sickle cell gene. The essence of this thread, is to encourage other warriors out there who may be going through pains, trials and sometimes stigmatisation as a result of bearing the Sickle cell gene. Thank you all. Like someone already pointed out, this thread is to serve as a source of inspiration to other warriors. As a Warrior, I have heard so many negative side talks, and some to my face about what warriors can do and what they cannot do. I once had a girlfriend who said to me that her mum said that male warriors can't impregnate a woman, and she went futher to say that a nurse corroborated the assertion. The God who has kept me and done all these things for me, will also do it for as many Warriors and non-Warriors out there. Amen. 5 Likes |
