That doesn't look Norwegian elkhound to me. Norwegian elkhounds possess thick and fluffy coat and fur, and more pronounced earlobes unlike tonto's. Nice try though

As soon as I saw the picture, I thought to myself, that is a Spitz. So Tonto's dog is actually a Finnish Spitz. I have attached a picture of this dog breed.

On a side note, Tonto has such a taste when it comes to various dog breeds. I like that.

that's not a finnish spitz. Poorly bred norqegian elkhound.Compare the round gray shaving underneath both eyes.

It is difficult to tell the breed with only the head even if you consult the internet or a dog breed atlas. The finnish spitz I see here is a curled tail breed whereas we can't see the tail/hindquarters of her pet...make we ask Tonto
