And this ediot keeps hauling insults to our faces. Joker Okupe. grin

But Okupe was correct with his statement that no government in Nigeria since independence has performed better than Jonathan's. Only tribal and religious bigots who are bent on capturing Aso Rock by hook or crook refuse to see the truth in Okupe's statement.

Imagine this fact: some Nigerian group push for Buhari presidency with the hope that Buhari may not complete 8 years in office so that one of their kin who is to be Buhari's VP shall succeed Buhari? They do not know that north must insist on completing eight years, even if Buhari served for only one year as president.

Isn't it the same buhari that said Nigeria wouldn't have peace if he doesn't rule you guys are talking about? And what is wrong with OBJ am not saying GEJ is better, but he should have least rated his 8year rule before rating a 4 year rule. I think if not because of BokoH GEJ could have done and deserve better. But looking at the history of Nig, no President can judge another cause there weren't better off, there's no President that can say he did more than he should have. THERE IS NO HERO IN NIGERIA AS FAR AS A PRESIDENT IS CONCERNED.

militancy was curbed by yardau , yes there is still militancy , mend still bombs. They still kidnap in ph . Was 2011 free and fair.
Then you don't know what militancy is.
By your logic, the Denmark cartoon riots, the miss world riots, the Jos crisis and all forms of religious and ethinc crisis in the north under the idiotic OBJ also qualifies as insurgency.

I may not be satisfied with GEJ's performance, but OBJ should be the last person passing judgement on another's tenure.
OBJ, is one of the most blessed person in Nigeria. Having been given the opportunity to rule this country twice, and yet he couldn't make significant impact on the economy and well being of the populace.
OBJ should bow down his head in shame. Cos, we are were we are because he foisted Yaradua and GEJ on us.
Thank you. you've said it all. succinctly put

FACT:

All these ranting of Jonathan's

Incompetency
Performing below average
Lack of vision
Most corrupt govt ever
Stupid leader
Shoeless president etc

By some (few) Nigerian politicians, governors, barrow pushers, artisans and co can be summarized as

1. Jonathan administration was and still the most antagonistic govt ever ranging boko haram immense attack, attack from political bigwig (cus of his minority origin), over bloated security budget, Godfatherism from obj, etc

2. Northern leaders hate seeing their southern counterparts ( south East and south South) witness the real huge oil wealth coming out from their soil so as not to feel cheated and how oil bloks are shared btw the regoins.

3. Religious attacks and the feeling of a Christian occupancying the position serially while forgeting that the North have been serial occupants of the said position for donkey yrs without impunity.

4. This present administration uphold almost 100% freedom of speech and press freedom. If not.....

5. Past leaders do bear bad names after quiting the office of their dictatorial regime. And they and their fans are trying all possible means to force GEJ to do same so that nothing good will come autta him. A mute type which is best answer to a fool.

6. No govt will ever fare well with insulgency buh this man is still driving good despite all odds. And they the antagonist forget that they are pushing GEJ to the brink of performing above average cus of their high level of opposition. End of the tenure justifys the means.

7. Nigerians play regional politics of the highest biasedness and are always in dellusionness.

I know Obasanjo's problems. He wants GEJ to be worshipping him like a god. Nigerians seems to have forgotten all the impunities that characterised OBJ's government. A man that imports and exports corruption is here talking trash. A man that was using EFCC as political bulldogs against his opponents. A man that slept with the wife of his own son. A man that has never been in peace with his family. A man who had the opportunity to save this nation but selfishly threw it into hell fire. It pains me that Nigeria seems to forget things so easily. Nigerians should stop waiting for GEJ to come and put food in your individual tables before you will agree that he is working. OBJ have no moral right to tell us about GEJ' S performance. Obama is almost completing his 8 year tenure but no one has ever heard Bush spew any rubbish about him. If only GEJ is diverting half of our resources into OBJ's account, no body will be hearing this thrash.

so many positions in government.
what is the distinct and peculiar role of the senior special assistant to president. Is there junior aswistant also? what's the difference between this role and that of special advicer? Just creating unnecessary positions for people to eat and and avenues to loot.

We all know Jonathan hasn't performed well enough but comparing him to the past presidents he has performed above average though I wouldn't want him to win 2015 cos of the security issue in the country, we need a strong and capable hand to handle security in naija today but if u check the history of pple coming out, he should keep the seat...

These comments are born out of hatred for GEJ.. Nigerians forget too easily. Saying obj achieved more than gej in his 8yrs of reign clearly shows we are very bad followers. I still remember the 16billion rail project obj commissioned which never came into existence. But now our rail system is beginning to take a good shape kudos to gej administration.
No one saw Obj as a weakly when he couldnt tackle the Niger delta militancy which accounted for the loss of many lives down south , not until yar adua came in with the amnesty deal. We all Knw what this country was like during objs regime. Bank robbery was the order of the day , people getting hit by stray bullet on daily basis, police brutality, kidnapping, extra judicial killing and so on. Pls let's give credit to this administration ... Obj is a bastard to say gej performed below average .
obj is corrupt-stealing,robbery,militancy,kidnapping,etc.it was at infancy stage.but now,it become double fold, both in corruption, indiscipline, and in killing.that means gej is d worst president nigeria ever have according to sowore(sahara reporter).

Who built the NIPP that is now generating the 4MW? Who introduced the Telecoms companies, banks and oil companies that gave millions of Nigerian youths jobs between 2002 and 2009? Who even sat Jona's ass on the presidency? All thanks to OBJ, this great man squashed any form of uprising during his time, he was ECOWAS leader, He was ANC leader, a typical African spokesperson, just a little lower than Mandela and u compare him to this one? Mtchewwww, smh for u.
Obasanjo didn't build any of the NIPP, he kept signining and signing contracts embezelling the money for 8 years with absoulutely nothing to show for it until GEJ came and completed them from a level of not more than 20%. Obasanjo didn't introduce any telecom company or banks, the telecom companies came on their own because the time was right, it was a revoultion that swept every country in the world at that time, even Benin rep. had them before us. It is like saying Abacha introduced Pay TV companies like DSTV or that GEJ introduced online sales companies like Jumia, Konga, OLX etc. Pure nonsense.
How did Obasanjo squash the uprising of Niger delta militants who were using our Navy and Army for practice then? He even admitted allowing boko haram to have their sharia so that they wouldn't disturb his government.

pls what's the quality of graduates in the bolded, do you travel by rail and will you use the kind of rail present in nigeria now. How often do you fly ? The privatization is over a year, still no 24 hrs light even as. I pay close to 20k monthly.

So, did you travel by better rail system during OBJ's tenure, so we can evaluate GEJ's rail system by OBJ's and equate it as average ? When you speak, your mind is on parade. My posts emphasizes on the yardstick by which GEJ's 4yrs is measured by. Even if we were to use OBJ's 8yrs as an overall barometer against GEJ's 4yrs, OBJ's tenure will come short.

I fly almost weekly locally and at least twice a year annually, but how does that even matter here, OBJ asserted that GEJ's performance is average, and I ask against, based on which paradigm ? Which yardstick ? Who did better ?

The aged are not always more intelligent, so when OBJ is making statements, he should understand that his word is not law, because he is not even more intelligent than some 10yrs old in China, America and even some kids in Nigeria.

So conduction free and fair elections in Edo, Ekiti, Anambra states and so on as we saw under Goodluck with minimum malpractices as compared to announcing election results rom Bolingo hote as we saw in 2003 when Obasanjo was in power is below average? This man must be angry he is growing old and dwindling in relevance.

Baba has spoken. He knows he laid a solid foundation for good governance for his successors to build on. With that in mind, to him what Jonathan and his followers are parading as performance is a disappointment, because to whom much is given much is expected.
Who built a solid foundation? Which foundation are you talking about? Are you referring to the same Obasanjo who spent more than $16 billion on power generation, leaving us with less electricity than we had before the project purportedly began? Or are you talking about the Obasanjo who sent soldiers to sack Odi and massacre its inhabitants? Is this not the Obasanjo who fought desperately to secure an unconstitutional third term for himself? Need I recount Obasanjo's atrocities? The point I'm making is that Obasanjo has no right to pontificate or sermonise about good governance. Read my lips: Obasanjo is probably the most decadent and morally reprobate leader Nigeria has ever produced.

However, that is not to justify or mitigate Jonathan's shortcomings in any way. Even by African standards Jonathan's achievements are rather puny and he could certainly have done better. Indeed we should hold him and all our leaders to account and insist by all means that they perform better.

However, what irks me is the hypocrisy, the hubristic insolence demonstrated by morally bankrupt and expired leaders like Obasanjo who presume to lecture us on good governance. Even if we have forgiven, do they think we have forgotten? Do the Obasanjos, Atikus and Tinubus of this world think we are fools?

can you compare OBJ's regime with GEJ? please I want you to tell me one single thing Obj achieve in Nigeria for 8years he spent in the office as president.please tell me. a man who wanted to amend out constitution in order to allow him to rule this country for 12yrs. but when GEJ's supporters were begging him to contest for second tenure,OBJ kicked against, telling him not to exercise his constitutional right.what name will i give this man called OBj? it is only a foolish man will vomit that rubish he vomited after looting our wealth.OBJ that was deadly broke b4 emerging as our president back then in 1999 is now dancing in billions of dollars in the name of Ota farmer.if not because Nigeria is a country were thevies are being praised and glorified, OBJ would have been serving his third tenure ambition in prison.even though that GEJ have not performed as expected, OBJ shouldnt be the person that will say it because his 8yrs tenure did not seperate him from the allegation he is leveling against our president.I think his problem is because GEJ refuses to be remote the way he wanted.OBJ should bury his face in shame for disappointing this nation after given him second chance to make things right.it is only idiot, morons,Imbeciles that will support OBJ on this, and anybody that quote me and talk rubish is one of them.

Please permit me to put your post in a MORE reader-friendly arrangement for many of our fellow citizens who may be too LAZY to fully grasp the real essence of your beautiful COMPARISON of the accuser and the accused's STEWARDSHIP to the people of this potentially great nation =>

peleson:
For example, obj speny 8 yrs building

- bells university,
- obj farms,
- obj libery,
- obj holdings

which are all worth millions of dollars while in office!

Atiku was busy as vice building the most expensive university in w/africa in yola.

Gej in his 1st 3yrs in office

- established 11 federal universities.
- Built roads obj didn't build.
- Completing power stations obj budgeted for n looted all the money tru imoke.

Hmmm Nigerians should know their hero! Obj is not one!

In 1999 u couldn't pick up form for ur presidential election because u were so broke but after being a president u are worth billions of dollars! Then u are a saint abi! Reasons he wanted 3rd term! Ewu awusa

In summary, while General Bully_Aminu of Ota and his Vice, Atiku were transforming their individual and personal POCKETS, the duo of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Arc. Namadi Sambo have been TRANSFORMING the national infrastructure base and by so doing touching our LIVES magnificently.

One good term deserves ANOTHER.
