uzolexis: she was defending herself from r.ape incredible. R.ape from a man she was legally and lawfully married to with the consent of her parents. Were you there when the man attempted to r.ape her? She didn't kill him during the act so how will she prove that her husband attempted to rape her? she is a murderer, simple! 1 Like |

akinsadeez: Nonsense! The force used was commensurate to the danger she faced. A life in bondage, ra'pe day in and day out, modern day slavery. She could have run away to where? And what would happen after that? She would not be taken back to her husband again and face more brutality? Nonsense. It is only in a backward country like this that people will defend peso*philes and sentence a child that was desperate to death. SHAME! 2 Likes |

Truckpusher: I have explained to you that I don't consider it murder but self-defense. I can'T help you if you don't understand it. And I cannot stay calm when you justify evil with culture and when you claim that children are ok with ra*pe because they happen to be members of a particular culture. AND YOU ADMITTED THAT SHE HAD NOT OTHER WAY TO DEFEND HERSELF. 1 Like |

akinsadeez:this is a 14 year old, forced to marry a man who could pass for her father. What does she know about love, marriage life, even cooking, taking care of the home, emotional stability, motherhood? twould be the height of evil and injustice for anyone to canvas the capital punishment for this child. |

Re: 14-year Old Kano Child Bride, Faces Death Penalty For Allegedly Killing Husband by akinsadeez(m): 5:43pm On Nov 29, 2014 |
Homguy: It is not in doubt that she was married against her wish. the pertinent question is; was killing him the only solution? I don't think so. This is clearly a case of premeditated murder and the punishment is clear. If all child brides in northern Nigeria were allowed to poison their husbands, what do you think will happen? She committed murder and should face the consequences. |

noblezone: My understanding of the law is that Capital offences consist an exception to the rule as regards minors. I.e she can be tried and convicted as an adult in open court since she committed a capital offence. I stand to be corrected sha, but that is what I know. |
Re: 14-year Old Kano Child Bride, Faces Death Penalty For Allegedly Killing Husband by Homguy(m): 5:50pm On Nov 29, 2014 |
akinsadeez:murder in self defense, that's what it is. Whatelse could she do? run away and be brought back? Complain to her hungry, selfish parents? She must have done enough of that. The pain of a 14 year old girl being raped continually by a 35yr old man who probably thinks he just bought another commodity , we men may never know, but I don't see any other option. Besides, cases like these would never stop until child marriage is abolished in Nigeria. 1 Like |

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in: United States — Muslim 0.6% Australia — Muslim 1.5% Canada — Muslim 1.9% China — Muslim 1.8% Italy — Muslim 1.5% Norway — Muslim 1.8% At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in: Denmark — Muslim 2% Germany — Muslim 3.7% United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7% Spain — Muslim 4% Thailand — Muslim 4.6% From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in: France — Muslim 8% Philippines — Muslim 5% Sweden — Muslim 5% Switzerland — Muslim 4.3% The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5% Trinidad & Tobago — Muslim 5.8% At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world. When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections, in: Guyana — Muslim 10% India — Muslim 13.4% Israel — Muslim 16% Kenya — Muslim 10% Russia — Muslim 15% After reaching 20% , nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in: Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8% At 40% , nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in: Bosnia — Muslim 40% Chad — Muslim 53.1% Lebanon — Muslim 59.7% From 60% , nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in: Albania — Muslim 70% Malaysia — Muslim 60.4% Qatar — Muslim 77.5% Sudan — Muslim 70%* After 80% , expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in: Bangladesh — Muslim 83% Egypt — Muslim 90% Gaza — Muslim 98.7% Indonesia — Muslim 86.1% Iran — Muslim 98% Iraq — Muslim 97% Jordan — Muslim 92% Morocco — Muslim 98.7% Pakistan — Muslim 97% Palestine — Muslim 99% Syria — Muslim 90% Tajikistan — Muslim 90% Turkey — Muslim 99.8% United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96% 100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace. Here there’s supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in: Afghanistan — Muslim 100% Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100% Somalia — Muslim 100% Yemen — Muslim 100% Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons. 2 Likes 4 Shares |

Truckpusher: Tell me Truckpusher, what would you do if you were forced to live with another man, yes man, for the rest of your life and he would come to your bedroom every night and ra*pe you. And imagine he is MUCH stronger than you. Apart from that you have to listen to him and you also have to serve him, clean up after him and cook for him. You are not allowed to go where you want and you are not allowed to read what you want. You are also not allowed to have your own money and to work. 1 Like |

Homguy: why assume that she would brought back if she ran away? where there is a will, there is a way. I have never heard of a planned or premeditated self defence before. it goes against the very fabric of that defence and as far as I am aware there is no case supporting such in Nigeria. Maybe her case will set a new precedent but if I am the judge, I won't buy that. Taking a human being's life is a very grievous thing but it seems you guys are trivializing it. |
