Ovamboland:Thank you, Sir. I seriously respect your honesty. At least I can see that you're not one of those that argue aimlessly. Yeah, the 4.5 Billion was a typo, you're right it's 4.5 Trillion |

Now I seriously love the APC social welfare ideas for the unemployed,it'll increase productivity and stimulate enterprise, the funds used will be spent in Nigeria, increased consumer spending will help the mechanics, artisans, foodstuffs sellers. It's a new dawn of hope for Nigerians. Is there a complete nationalized health insurance scheme? If not,it should be included. Nigeria will be great again. Let's leave the ashes of the pdp and step into a new finely bred awakening of the APC. APC good plan, great implementation is our hallmark. From Lagos to Edo to Imo to Kano to Rivers, great implementation. I love APC. Finally proud to be a Nigerian. |

Curlieweed:According to Sanusi less than 1% of the population consume 25% of our budget. This road map will turn that equation around to provide a social support to the most needy, by plugging this waste. When you factor in stolen 100,000 barrels of crude per day one starts to get the real picture of today's weak budget numbers. Besides the 25m people stated is the maximum planned, and, everything considered, implementation will likely be phased. So that by the time this limit is reached the economy will likely be bigger than current N4.5trillion budget. The other elements of the road map will also have a ripple effect of our economy... so stop using yesterday's (read PDP's) failed plans for tomorrow (read APC's) solutions. In my view they should watch out because PDP will steal some of these ideas into their campaign lies... the road map might have been released too soon. Meanwhile Sai Buhari |

DelGardo:Not surprising at all that the most analytically intelligent Nairalanders are fans of APC and optimistic supporters of progress for Nigeria while PDP fans/TANdroids are bitter and negative enemies of progress who cannot see good in anything others suggest and would have us persevere with 16 years of abject and criminal leadership failure. This is why I would personally read and respond to this post, which is an example of progressive and solution-driven intelligence, while ignoring the unintelligent and self-righteous drivel of Jonathanians. Constructive criticism is essential in life but entirely illogical and hate-filled criticism is a waste of time no one should entertain or take seriously. literally many billions of dollars can be released for use on Nigerians, capable of funding a badly-needed welfare scheme for the least-privileged, if we gain a President and government that will shun our patronage system of governance to take all actions in the interest of average Nigerians and spend every kobo on the masses. Everything can work with a pro-people approach a leader like Buhari will bring whereas everything will fail, with even the simplest things appearing terribly complicated, under pro-elite, pro-patronage system and "business as usual" Presidents such as OBJ, GEJ et al. As simple as that. |

I posted this in response to a thread by Biafranqueen, and I think it is wise to quote it here An APC government will not encourage unemployment on the long run but will ONLY provide parliatives while creating jobs for the unemployed(which is what is obtainable in sane society). The 5000 for 25m unemployed will not be an fixed thing as the beneficiaries will drastically reduce in their numbers with time. The purpose is to put food on the table of the unemployed pending the time they are gainfully employed. In other words, it is saying "we are creating jobs for you, but we are to be giving you so and so until you get a job". This is commendable! |

barcanista:I am surprised you continue to have time to waste on bitter enemies of progress who are glorified attention-seekers craving your indulgence of their asinine drivel. Many , including myself, simply avoided that thread you responded to because if is full of the usual not-so-subtle scaremongering, blatant lies and fraudulently deliberate misinterpretations Jonathanians and TANdroids deploy in the desperate effort to demonize others and get their ultra-failed messiah over the line in 2015. Only fools and crassly ignorant folks, not worth indulging at all, would not understand that genuine reforms, working at even only 20% success, can make a monumental sum of money available to do far more on behalf of the masses. As one example out of many , who is foolish enough to think our recurrent expenditure , year in year out, has to be as high as 70% (at the expense of pro-people capital spending) if not that it is our politics of elite and AGIP patronage that is entirely responsible for this? Do some appreciate that recurrent expenditure for many developed nation is in single digit i.e under 10%? Is it not the heights of idiocy to talk as if we cannot realistically bring this down drastically with genuine and pro-people political will? GEJ has failed over 5 years to do anything about this deplorable situation but others not as materialistic, corrupt and as beholden to the rapacious elite class as our President is will succeed easily to free up trillions of Naira to spend on what benefit ordinary Nigerians instead of ten planes for one President and private jets for his many cronies and 'partners in crime'. Bro, stop dignifying attention-seekers with what they crave from you the most. I.e your acknowledgement of their senseless and retrogressive garbage. Ignore them and their pathetic threads. |

Gbawe2:you see the reason for the reesponse is because of public opinion. Well even the 30% capital expenditure is not even expended to capital project in full. In fact, the capital budget performace is less than 40%, meaning only a fraction of what is appropriated for capital project was used for the projects. Over 60% was not used for capital project. Fraudulent government |
