One thing I want you to understand is that fighting corruption in a democratic country like Nigeria with all her regional bias and ethnic coloration coupled with personal greed, it is almost impossible to make a headway and most times the people entrusted with the power to do these things are either too hungry to reject a fat bribe and too afraid to make any sacrifice and whatever it may cost them.

How can you blame the Judiciary when the bucks rest on the Executive led by the President? If a High court judge take bribe, why not appeal the case to Appeal Court? Where was he when Obasanjo was securing conviction against Politicians, Civil servants etc? Where was he when Yar Adua convicted Bode George only for Jonathan's prosecutors to upturn it? You can never shield Mr President of blame. He's incompetent along with his subordinates.

Suddenly Obasanjo is now a champion of corruption? when corruption was part of his Govt all along,in fact he institutionalized corruption and only convicting those that refused to play alongside with his political views and those he perceived as enemies to his ambitions and equally those that refused to bow down to his highhandedness.

Fact is : Obasanjo's anti corruption crusade was for selfish and personal purpose, he was pursuing a personal aggrandizement and personal vendetta against his own enemies and has nothing to do with getting rid of corruption from his administration.If you're using Obasanjo's anti-corruption crusade as yardstick to measure Jonathan's administration then you're biased and cannot and should not be taken serious as anything coming from you could be tainted for whatever reasons only you can tell.
