There are 52 female suicide bombers on the prowl in Maiduguri, a member of the youth vigilante group has revealed.

It could be recalled that two suicide bombers were unleashed on Maiduguri last week causing the death of over 35 people.

Two others were unleashed on the town this Monday causing six deaths and 36 injured people.

Speaking to our correspondent on Monday after the two attacks on the Maiduguri Monday Mmarket, the source said the youth vigilante group had made it difficult for the insurgents to visit massive mayhem on the town with the incessant search of vehicles and people of the town.

He said: "One of the female suicide bombers arrested revealed to them (youth vigilante) that presently in Maiduguri there are 52 female suicide bombers who have been commissioned to explode bombs at high density areas."

You can't use the actions of some 52 psychos to judge a religion. The muslims have been peaceful since the independence haven't they? If it has anything to do with their religion,this wouldn't have started in this decade. Besides,the terrorists could not even be muslims. They could be political thugs who are been brainwashed for motivation. Doing it the religious way.

Ominous times we live in. This goes to show that indeed, the only solution to this carnage is intelligence gathering to ensure pre-emptive measures are taken to safeguard the lives and properties of innocent Nigerians.

The ONLY problem is that the agencies saddled with the responsibility of impregnating the terrorist organisation with moles are much more interested in what the opposition party is doing in their data centre and preventing lawful assembly by our elected legislators simply because the guy under whose command they operate is so so desperate to retain power even if it means the death of the country!

Sometimes l ponder on what goes on in d mind of a female suicide bomber, what motivates her as women are known to be more emotional. At what point did their hearts congeal like superglue exposed to air. lf they see this as martyrdom hell is d reward.
