Last week during sunday school,we talked about the visit of the three wise men to Jesus and when reference was made to the bible(KJV) it was stated that there were wise men NOT THREE,so where are we getting 3wise men from? HELP PLEASE!

Two people could come to you bearing four gifts...that doesnt necessarily mean four people came visiting.

The issue of the wise men is an erroneous misconception...and unfortunately,its one thats been taught in schools

so we should just say we've been making an assumption about that part of the bible. It's well. This might be just one of the many parts we've been make assumptions in.

Actually it's a general misconception....cos they brought three gifts: gold, frankincense and myrrh...most assume that they were three.....ion really think that matters anyway...
