I am a fan of Brahimi and I feel he is going to be as good as Yaya Toure but there is no way he is the African Best Player. Yaya was ahead of every African Player. He scored a lot of goals that led Man City to win the league title. Yaya's bulldozing run against Aston Villa was breath taking and the goal was cooly slotted in. What of Yaya's goal against Sunderland In the Carling Cup finals at Wembley. That was the goal of the competition.

This award lacks credibility. Terrible. This is coming from someone who respects Brahimi.

Honestly Yacine deserves it even though I would have loved Enyeama to have it.

Did you see what Brahimi and Feghouli did to the Germany the eventual world cup winners in Brazil.
Germany won 1-0 in extra time against algeria.

All thing being equal Algeria will be the team to beat in Afcon 2015
Are you saying Brahimi deserves that award over Yaya Toure.

In 2013-2014, Brahimi scored 3 goals in 36 matches.

While Yaya scored 24 goals in 49 games. Yaya was a major reason Man City won the Capital one cup and the EPL trophy.

Brahimi did not deserve it.

well, not mine. Enyeama is good but not the complete package. his ariel presence ( timing with corners, freekicks) is a bit suspect. Yacine brahimi deserves it imo, nearly took out germany on his own in the WC

I think he's had a better year than yaya. Yaya hasn't been that impressive in the new year.

Also think his performance in the WC and uefa this year has something to do with him winning.

It is impossible for Brahimi to have a better year than Yaya Toure. Brahimi scored only three goals in the whole Year. Yaya was one of the reasons Man City Won the EPL and the Capital one cup. Yaya scored amazing goals.

Note, Yaya was the only African in the FIFA 23 nominees for the Ballon d'or. So how can Brahimi have a better year.

FC Porto are not even champions of the Portuguese league. It is Benfica. That award is just vote joke. It is undeserved. Even Ahmed Musa had a better year than Brahimi.

The Capital One Cup and The EPL was in 2014. Yaya scored over 15 goals in 2014. Yaya scored the best goal of the Capital one cup in the final in 2014. So how can Brahimi's performance of 2014 be better than Yaya? Yaya was nominated in the Ballon D'or shortlist in 2014.

The AFCON is almost 2 years ago, please let it go, I believe they won the League last season, I may be wrong, if you havent heard of him then do your research the votes dont lie

Benfica FC won the league. Not FC Porto. I am just against the fact people are saying he deserved the award. Brahimi is not the best African player in 2014.

When Okocha won this award,Bolton did not win anything nor did Nigeria. Voters look at efforts of a player and Brahimi deserves it just like Enyeama. Brahimi is very creative and his vision is very good,so no qualms. let us not attach sentiments.
