Nigerians are just big big talk, did any pastor go on air and tell people to vote Enyeama? what of our government? We say we have good internet penetration and a big population yet Algeria out voted us. This is another hand writing on the wall.

Thank you jare, that is Nigerians for u o, we only specialize in pulling our own down, its a disease we may never recover from, I used two gsm lines to vote for enyeama, if all of us who rant here on this forum did same, am sure enyeama would have won, I was shocked hearing people on this forum say that enyeama did not deserve the award despite being one of the top goalkeepers in the world cup and in France.

Truly we are big for nothing!

Nawoo! this is another nearly for Enyeama, hope no be like dis we go de dey'o? cheesy

On a serious note, Yacine Brahim had a near excellent world cup with Algeria, their advancement to the second round has proved to be priceless not just for him but Algeria as a whole, plus they gave the world champions a run for their money before they got eliminated AET.

Yacine scored a brilliant direct free kick goal against Enyeama (reminiscent of messi's free-kick goal against Nigeria at the mundial- for me, another poor positioning from Enyeama), in the final qualifying round of the UCL when his team Fc Porto eliminated Lille Fc from participating in this years group stage of the UCL.
Nice analysis there bro. The only African player that impressed me the most in the world cup is brahimi. With him in their midfield, they played with no fear and he also scored a couple of goals alongside his brilliant performance. Not just that, he was consistent throughout the competition. At club level in Porto; he has qualified for the UCL and has scored a couple of goals in the UCL. The dude is very consistent and that's commendable

Are you saying Brahimi deserves that award over Yaya Toure.

In 2013-2014, Brahimi scored 3 goals in 36 matches.

While Yaya scored 24 goals in 49 games. Yaya was a major reason Man City won the Capital one cup and the EPL trophy.

Brahimi did not deserve it.
Oga, that has already won him APOTY 2013.

This is 2014. Stop using 2013 season. Plus Brahimi outperformed him in the World Cup and AFCON qualifiers, the highlights of 2014.

Don't be like Nigerians that are still talking their players' performance at Nations Cup 2 years after.

You are wrong here. By the time Yaya won the 2013 APOTY, Man City were not champions. We won the Capital one Cup and EPL after Yaya won the award in January.
