I gotta tell ya, but the expensive house in FCT looks like a dungeon and unfit for human to live in...Why are such badly built/finished houses so costly in our country. COmpare

Yes, I know a man who first bought a house in US before building 6 flats in naija yet he is resident here.

Our properties are grossly overpriced.

Imagine that Abuja house looking very old and dirty and they are calling N500m

I have built mansions with half of that money,so it's very silly to buy a fugly,dirty and overpriced dungeon in abuja.

I was just wondering - what do you guys think is the cause of the high cost...Could it be because we have to import everything? I am just wondering though/
But another angle is that American Labor is very costly so even if material is expensive in Nigeria due to Importation, Labor is cheap in Nigeria, so it should balance out. I am not sure the houses should be UNAFFORDABLE.

Just my thots. What do you think guys?
