A friend of mine was supposed to see her menstruation on d 23rd of Nov but she didn't see it so she bought a pregnancy test kit and d result was positive. The prob now is that she does not know the weeks and she's not ready to go 4 scan but she's willing to know the weeks.
questions:
(1)How can she know the weeks/month herself without going to d hospital?
(2)Is she suppose to be taking folic acid?or she should just hold on till 3months before she start taking any drug.

1. When was her last menstrual period? Date?
2. Sure she can go right ahead although she'll get more bang for her buck with prenatal vitamins which already usually contain folic acid and other vitamins good for the baby

May I suggest? She needs to embrace the idea of going to see the ob-gyn in the near future, we want a healthy baby right? Of course we do

Well, she can't figure out the weeks herself especially if this is her first. Please, let "her" go the hospital. First pregnancies are usually complicated because most women don't know anything about it.
Taking folic acid is the very least of your wahala now. Visit the hospital and get a specialist on speed dial.
