According to CityRovers, it has been revealed that the form Akinwunmi Ambode filled for his Joint Matriculation Examination Board (JAMB) examination in in 1983, as it is observed that he is from Ondo state.
Ambode, who has been enjoying massive support from the majority, may be investigated as some of the aggrieved politicians have petitioned the Inspector General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba calling for the immediate arrest and prosecution of a governorship aspirant of the party for committing perjury in his INEC form and his JAMB form.

Most people in Lagos are settlers, the man was born in Épé , his maternal family if from Épé and he has served Lagos all his adult life. We care about performance and nothing more. They tried the arrest thing some days back but I guess the IG knows the law better than that, according to our constitution once you've been resident in a state for up to 10 years you are allowed to fill it as your state.

Because Lagos belongs to Yorubas, they can bring someone from Ibadan to be the Governor. That is entirely a yoruba affair.

For me it should be more about competence than any other thing else.

If he's good let's vote for him.

If the constitution allows any citizen resident in a particular state to claim to be indigenous of that state. Why is it a sacrilege for Igbos to claim Lagos or produce a governor?
