When he got to the top, he paused to give them a second chance, it all fell on 'rocky grounds'. Meanwhile, they've been warning him all along not to try touching the wires talkless of cutting it, he didn't listen. One baba came and told them to leave him alone since he was doing 'yanga'. The official then proceeded to cut the wires, as he was doing that, the baba touched his tongue, the official was electrocuted and 'floated' to the ground dead!

God did not create a flawed system. In Gen. 1:31 says "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
It was humans who flawed it, a great flaw at that.

Its right there in the bible but its amazing how many people miss it.

God created man on the 6th day, man and woman he created him, men and women he created them. And he set them on the surface of the earth and gave them dominion and said to them "be fruitful and multlply..." You get it.

On the 7th day God rested. Creation story over.

Then wayyyy over in chapter 2 God creates a man(one, singluar special man) and places him in the garden of Eden. He eventually gives that man a woman(eve) and they have sons . Cain kills Abel over a small matter of acceptance and he is sent into exile by God.



But Cain knows he is going to where other men are...unruly men that will kill him at the drop of a hat. So he begs God to have pity on him. God answers by marking Cain with a special mark so that any other man who sees Cain will not kill him. That is how Cain survived outside the borders of Eden. That is also where Cain gets his wife from.

When he promised the children of Israel that he would lead them to the promised land, his word became law. There was no wy the children of Israel wouldn't get there. In the process, God was going to mete out justice on the inhabitants of that land. We don't know what they did but it was enough for God to wipe them off the face of the Earth. Rumours had it that these civilizations engaged in idolatory, child sacrifices, horrifying sexuaI orgies , witchcraft etc etc. And the Earth would cry out to God and God would find a way to cleanse the place. That was the way of the world then.

Even when the Israelites strayed away and commited same atrocities, because God is Just, he dealt the same way with them. We may find it horrifying but that was the way of the world then.


In the new testament in which we are in, Jesus stays God's hand. This is an age of 'permittance' in that God allows us do whatever we like however we like, all on borrowed time. Jesus has shed his blood for mankind and it is this sacrifice that stay's God's hand. Jesus comes with a different approach...God's compassion and love without the fire and brimstone...all with the hope that man will listen this one last time before the end of this world.

Personally I don't argue with them so as to convince them because all the atheists that I know that repented and came back to Jesus were through divine intervention. None repented by argument with christians. Its purely the work of the Holy spirit.

2)Where did the other inhabitants come from?

Oh and by the way, the reason you think there is a discrepancy is because you and a host of other folk interpreted it wrongly. It's a straightforward story which I will try and explain again in a nutshell for correctness sake.

The FIRST Creation account is the creation of the world.

The so called SECOND creation account is the creation of Eden.

Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2 do not come into play here at all. That issue does not concern you as a human being neither does it concern your salvation if you want it.

Just take time out and Read from Gen 1:27, down to Gen 2. Realise that God had finished creating the world and all that was in it before he paid special attention to placing a man in the garden of Eden and animals for him to name and dominate. Adam wasn't the first man, but Adam represented mankind in that he was specially made and cared for by God.

I don't think I can explain it more than this.
