Any party that thinks fayose have its full interest at heart is only fooling himself. Fayose will always protect his own selfish interest and so can frolick with any political party that will help him eat what he wanna eat at a time

This is actually the cultural standard and the expected thing coming from Fayose but it was in 2012. In Yoruba culture, what he did here is the minimum expected action after disrespecting an elder. I think the apology came after a public embarrassment and near assault in Obasanjo at a ceremony in western Nigeria in 2012. You don't do that to someone older than you in western Nigeria without apologizing publicly.
HOwever, Fayose' s latest outburst on the governor's visit is going to go the same way as this one, when new developments emerge and it suits him to, we are going to see him apologize for the statements he made.

See silent behind the scene knifing going on among politicians. OBJ is a real bully. He clearly refuses to forgive and forget. But the ras.cal still went on to clinch the governorship of Ekiti.
