Please help a bro.

I'm very much in love with these two courses but I'm torn between them as I don't know which to go for.

Please which of them would you advise me to go for with respect to job prospect.

Also, can an agricultural engineer work in place of a mechanical engineer? Thanks

Mechanical engineering. Look no further.

Because that is what you will be doing in agricultural engineering and much of statistics which is really cool but may bore you. Also mechanical is wide and offers you more options than needed for you to have asked this question because you can become an agricultural engineer flawlessly.

No no no no

For starters, most schools offer this discipline as agricultural and bioresource engineering, agricultural and biosystems engineering, agricultural and biological engineering etc.

the reverse is actually the case, if any of the 2 disciplines should be boring, it's mechanical engr'g.

agricultural engineering has various major specializations like:

Power and machinery Engineering - this is the mech part

Soil, Water and Structural Engineering

Food Engineering

Environmental Engineering

Bioprocess Engineering

Biomedical Engineering

Food science and Technology
et cetra

This discipline is the broadest engineering discipline
