Because Nigerian men have all married Akata and Oyinbo finish.  The Nigerian men say Naija girls ain't loyal. The situation is more prevalent in women than men though. I don't know why. Lol. teasey: In fairness to the OP....it is a valid question. As TD Jakes once said....when you marry someone, you are marrying a different culture (and that is under the assumption that you are marrying someone from your tribe/religion/country). Marrying someone from another culture.....not as easy as it looks. Me, I may not marry a foreigner....not because I am a racist....in fact I see nothing wrong with marrying a a foreigner, really....but because getting used to a whole new country/culture....is a difficult matter.(that goes for the man and the woman).Many of our people too find it difficult tolerating a fellow black person from another village in the same tribe....talkless of white/Indian/Japanese/Pakistani lady..... (There is also the fact that if I end up marrying a foreigner....I doubt I would want to bring her back to live in this country.....as I dey type this thing...no light for my side! )10 Likes |

@Op, sincerely speaking, there are no good wives or husbands abroad. I mean I can be sure of UK and USA. I've seen a number of ladies in Massachusetts that got used and dumped at random by naija guys and those darky Jamo guys. Guys over there are never serious except for few. Some guys do have wives and kids back home and will lie to those hapless babes and promised them heaven on earth there in USA. Its not just about the green cards or money, just that most guys are not serious. Then for the girls, they prefer to come home and get married after several heartbreaks in the hands of foreign lovers. Abroad is really not where you can hope to get a good wife or a good husband. Speaking strictly from experience, American girls(Most) are not humble, they are deceived by what they see on the television and always have a sense of entitlement. It is not their fault tho, America is a country that favors women more than men, in fact I dare say, if you are a man and also happens to be black then the odds are heavily favored against you. From the few Nigerian American women that I've dated here, I realized 90% of them can't measure up to an average 9ja girl back home, I can still remember from my university days, my GF would cook for me and my friends, support me when I was financially down and still respect my opinion; I miss that kind of devotion, that is why most of us Nigerian guys do the unthinkable, come back home, marry and bring the wife over here to start a family. The sad truth about this experiment is that it could backfire easily, she could get here and turn into a creature much worse than the females here, I've seen many examples to know it's reality. America is poisonous, from homosexuality to violence, only God can direct one into making the right choice! 14 Likes |

I am in UK as I write this. I can tell u with my little 2 months experience here. Nigerian girls here can hardly identify with a fellow black or nigerian guy. They prefer white or the mentality of 'I am too big' to be known as a Nigerian. They want to feel white unfortunately they have not got the formula to mutate their melanin. The white guys on the other hand would always prefer fellow white for marriage and our girls for sexual satisfaction. In view of the above our guys here maintain their distance from them- fellow Nigerian girls. If u see any black girl wandering or seated alone or in any form that depicts loneliness get closer to her you would realise that she is a Nigerian. Our guys in order take a pound of flesh would not take what the white guys have rejected. They prefer coming home for a wife. In view of this general disappointment our babes have no alternative other than waking up a forgotten old boyfriend back in Nigeria for a relationship if at all the guy has not got married. From my anecdote above u can deduce the chain reaction why both babes and guys normally make it back home to marry. Remember in both cases they appear valuable and the opposite sex here in NAija would take them hook and sinker. 10 Likes 1 Share |
