While Boko haram is tearing Nigeria apart, drug cartels are running rampage in Mexico. A woman who asked to be called Susane told Skynews how her husband, a police officer knowingly gave his life at the hands of a drug cartel in an exchange for the life of his family.

The husband was summoned to a meeting by the drug cartel in Iguala. "My husban knew that if he didnt attend the meeting immediately they would directly attack his family, because they had fully identified us", Susane said.
"We knew it was either him or the family, so he somehow warned us that he might not be coming back alive, that perhaps this was the last time we would see each other".

This is really a sad story. What's the hope of an average citizen in Mexico when the life and family of a police officer cannot be protected.
